I LOVE Tea! She's been fantastic the past few days. I love that they are writing her as a smart bitch as she was originally portrayed and not the watered down whiny character under JFP. Marty was annoying me so I love how she handled her. Didnt see that slap coming although I have to admit, Id have slapped Tea as well. I also like that she has an ulterior motive and I cant wait to find up exaclty what she is up to. Its so funny how everyone in town is scared of her...lol. Really enjoying my feisty latina lawyer back in town. She's really making the show enjoyable

OK, I'm behind a couple of days... and LMAO at Rex sitting on Santa Bo's lap, asking for a whole bunch of pricey Christmas gifts.

Tessica & Brody = hotness. I don't usually take to about-to-be couples right away. But these two make it easy. There's a lot of pretty there. Plus ML can act and BW seems re-energized.

Glad I am not the only one bothered by this whole story of Rex trying to find Shane a Zbox. Rex is doing this to try and "win" Shane's love just to live up to the image Shane had of Brody. Again it just seems like they are trying to make Rex/Gigi this super couple and it is falling flat. Everything about them just seems to forced to me.

Loving TessJess/Brody pairing. So glad that he is out of the orbit of Rex/Gigi. It is a very interesting pairing and the situation how they are coming together. I think they are really going to connect at some point when the truth about Baby Chloe comes out and Jess has to give up her baby. Brody will be able to relate and could see that being what really brings them together.

From my point of view, Tea is Llanview's punching bag, literally. She get's slapped by Marty, punched by Todd, and thrown out of a window by Blair. Yet the woman still walks around like she's the Queen of Llanview. I love it.

It came to me yesterday while Dorian was talking about Tea, how much Dorian and Tea have in common, and yet how very different they are.

As for the Z-box plot, liked how it involved Dorian yesterday. With Jared and Natalie, I think they would have been wonderful to have done a christmas plot around them, something like the Gift of the Magi. I mean at least Gigi and Rex still have a job, what do Natalie and Jared do except babysit Jessica's kids? Shouldn't they be struggling for some cash, or is Jared moonlighting as a male hooker offscreen?

I am feeling this bitchy rivalry Marty and Tea have got going on. They're both time enough for each other, it's always so much more fun to watch two strong women go toe-to-toe than to watch some shrinking violet doe-eyed heroine get steamrolled by some female force of nature.

What's sick is that on a subtextual level, Marty and Tea (especially Tea) are essentially fighting over an unworthy man the likes of those duped ladies on Jerry or Maury. I swear, for a women's medium, soaps play out so many male fantasies. I mean look at Sarah begging to be with Christian (who is REALLY getting on my nerves btw, I wish he'd pack up

).

The greatest tv series season finale in history.
    • Mick Savage was sooo unbearable. And more unbearable was the reaction from the female characters to him - they were acting like he is God's gift to women and sooo irresistible. To a point of unbelievable cringe.
    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.
