Nicole will be around for another year then leave when she is found floating in a pool after her twin sister comes back? does that sound familure? I think Days does not want him to leave in the middle of the Nicole storyline that's all. They have done this before, believe me he will be gone as soon as this story ends. My guess is that he has minimal guarantees in his contract. They're probably not paying any more now than they would've if he was recurring. As someone mentioned, they want to guarantee that he'll be available for the duration of the story. Was never a big fan of his acting, though I must say that Julia Barr brought out the best in him.
