Yeah, I think she debuted yesterday, at least that's the first time I noticed her. She was throwin [!@#$%^&*] at Jared who was babysitting her, it was hilarious, you could tell that the kid was really enjoying it. "You killed my daddy, take THAT, take THAT!'

That was so sad. I had a flashback of the funeral of Gloria's baby, I think her name was Anna Claire, on AMC. They played Tears in Heaven. There have been a LOT of montages this week between OLTL and B&B.

Did Jessica yawn there at the end?

The "Christina Comes Home for Christmas" episode IMO was a nice change of pace, daring even. It reminded me of when Another World would do special episodes. It had alot of heart, which plenty of people on this board have been wanting. Congrats to AC and CC penning such a great episode.

Loved the ending montage. Now if only OLTL would use the music they used for the movie and make it their official background music.

Hey Dena...that is how you do film noir! Can you imagine if Dena had written it? We would have gotten weeks of pointless black and white scenes of stories that don't contribute a damn thing to what's going on with the show.

The "We All Fall Down" episode was equally touching. Ron Carlivati seems to love playing with the viewers emotions lol. One day he has the camp turned way up, then has me disgusted and throwing things at my tv, and next he has me crying like a baby. That is how a soap opera should be.

KA, KDP, KB, and RS all did amazing jobs today. I loved how the funeral seemed to tie in with Jessica and Brody.

Tomlin? I thought it was Valentini/Malone/Griffith who were responsible for that, and basically banishing all of the Holdens off the show.

Quite frankly I have never adored the character of Blair Cramer so much until RC started writing her. She goes from the protective mother lion that she is with Todd, to the loving neice/daughter we see with Dorian and Addie, to the firery sex kitten we see with John.

I'm hundred percent on team John/Blair. I don't like John McBain, but I like him with Blair. I can wait for RC to figure out a way to bring in Kevin Buchanan.

Jack: And who the hell is Mr. Stubbs?!

 OMG! Jack is cracking me up today. Whoever lit the fire under his little ass, I want to kiss. Jack Manning needs to be a little hell raiser. And the young actor playing Jack is doing a great job playing a little brat.

I like the young actor too and when you have a decent actor like him, you could write better material than, say, Will on DAYS - you couldn't do anything with Christopher Gerse!

With Jack, you could write episodes that show his POV and show his reactions and feelings because the actor can handle the material.

You mean the way that Starr should have been a troublemaker? I guess one can argue that they did not go the obvious route and have Starr become a mini-Blair or mini-Todd, but given the stunts and schemes she pulled as a little girl, I have to wonder where our devious little Starr went. As for Jack, I hope he is his father's son.

Did Jack ever find out that Todd gave him away because he though Jack was Max's son?

    • Today was a short one. Only 33 minutes.  The ‘Part One’ graphic at the beginning was pretty interesting though. I didn’t expect them to do something like that.  I like how everything was focused around John and his family and friends. Again, the acting and the dialogue was very well done and well written. And I love that they were able to incorporate Drake’s, “swing for the fences” phrase into the script. It was nice seeing everyone interact with each other, especially characters who don’t often share scenes together. It felt like every character was part of a big family or community. Plus, an outdoor funeral in June makes a lot more sense than an outdoor funeral in December.  But yeah, it’s very, very strange that Will isn’t at the funeral, especially since we know that

I would much rather he had been there today. And, where’s Anna too? And Jack and Jennifer? What was the point of bringing them all back if they weren’t going to attend the funeral? I expected Steve to want to close down BlackPatch, though I’d rather he just retire and let Paul take it over. But I like that Kayla was there to comfort him. I wonder if he’s going to change his mind at some point.  It was nice seeing Shane again too. Now, he just needs to have more scenes with his son lol but I enjoyed seeing him comfort Marlena. I’m not really sure about his interaction with Cat though? Was it really necessary for this to happen now, at John’s funeral? They could’ve waited a little longer to introduce this story arc.  Btw, was Tate bleeding from his head in his first scene with Arianna?
    • This is the coldest early June in my life. It's like it's January.

    • Now this strikes me as funny. I have it up on my acct. The thing is I only have S2. Didn't want either 1 or 3.  Perhaps I should just list all of these that I have up.  Parodies: Dirty Sexy Money, Filthy Rich Incomplete: The Monroes, All That Glitters, Falcon Crest (have all just not all up), Once & Again S2 only Complete: Models Inc, Pasadena, Pacific Palisades, Paper Dolls, Flamingo Road
    • This is wonderful! Thank you for posting this! I loved the first two seasons and never got to see the final season when they cancelled the DVD release. I've been hoping this popped up on streaming but no luck. Happy I'll finally get to see how it ended!

    • In case it is of interest to anyone here, I have digital copies (computer files, mp4 etc.) of all of the episodes. And, besides having the files they are all up on my usual video hosting site, acct name: shallotpeel, channel it is in: Primetime Soaps and file names like  Flamingo Road S1E15 Hurricane Flamingo Road was a primetime soap on NBC by Lorimar Productions. 2 seasons. 1980-1982. Morgan Fairchild, Barbara Rush. Developed by Rita Lakin.
    • Arguably DAYS OF OUR LIVES has been brilliant lately & definitely was last week. But, here I am with nitpick & technicalities. This was the only misstep but it was just a stupid thing that should have been caught. Deidre Hall as Marlena has this one problematic line, "It didn't matter how many identities you had, I always knew exactly who you were, you were the man who saved my life." - Marlena, DAYS, 6-2-25 Unfortunately the flashback closest to it was when Marlena was on the phone, terrified because she thought he was Stefano. Yes, it's true that the line is not accurate. There were many times when she did not feel the way she is claiming because of whatever was going on in story with his 'retconned to hell & back' identity & origin story. Does it keep the whole week from being called excellent? Nope.

Newsom is a craven opportunist, but his comments today were exactly how better people need to handle Trump.
