I have donated to Biden both the last and this election cycle and I just sent my first donation to Harris.

I am saddened for Biden so much and how it went down.  But I admire him for his leadership, his hard work, and most of all, his own sacrifice. History is going to judge him kindly - I do believe this.

Despite the donors wanting someone else, Biden endorsed Harris as did IMO her 2 strongest potential opponents(in the eyes of the donors), Gretchen Whitmar and Josh Sharpiro.

Now lets all do this with Madame Vice President and make her our first female President.

I don't like how any of this happened, but I understand some of her positioning from a purely coldblooded, pragmatic political calculus. But if the numbers really got that bad, it should not have gotten to this point. We should not have had people in the party shivving the president in public or on backchannel to the press for weeks well before now. Nothing that's gone on here could be called 'the easy way.' I don't blame all of that on Pelosi, but what happened across the party was a disgraceful display.

What I'm pissed about is that neither Pelosi nor Obama have endorsed Kamala yet. There's not going to be an open field; today has made that clear. If you want to dispel bad blood and the rumor mill, endorse the president's choice.

I am pissed that neither she or Obama are respecting Joe's wishes. You already pummeled the man on the national stage and made him look feeble. The least you can do is speak out and tell the truth. All of this b/c these people care more about donors than their peers and the American people. It just bothers me b/c he's a man of a certain age and my mind instantly goes to my late grandparents. If anyone did them like they are doing Joe, it'd be blood all over the Capital.

But on his way out, post-election (and Kamala winning), I hope Joe airs EVERYONE out.

Ironically, it's the Beltway elite media trying their best to shore up sagging GOP hopes atm - guys like Jonathan Martin and Nuzzi complaining that it's unfair to the Dem voters(??) or that Project 2025 is boring.

Nuzzi's pot-stirring was so naked, especially as she was pushing an article early on about how he didn't recognize her and is senile. She clearly didn't think he was going to drop out and now has to scramble and actually do her job.

This made me laugh:
