Not just selling your soul, but throwing your wife and even your dad under the bus.  I mean, if you were to call MY significant other "ugly," or insinuate that my father had assassinated JFK, you wouldn't have to worry about being banned from Twitter, because you'd be paralyzed from the neck down.  I'm just saying.

There was an incident years ago where a police officer found Cruz's wife sitting on the side of the road and put in his report he thought she was a danger to herself, so I'm not sure how good Cruz's marriage is. She moved to Texas for him, converted to Southern Baptist and is the breadwinner (she called herself that). I think he wanted children to bolster his future image and that he is less serious her than she is about him.

Ted Cruz has no soul to sell. He has always been a craven, disgusting figure, loathed by all around him. He spent his first years in the Senate trying to destroy the government for his Presidential aspirations. He coddled and enabled Trump in 2015 and 2016 assuming that Trump's voters would flock to him, not realizing that many people simply do not like him. He still doesn't understand that no one ever will.

I'm still wary about Manchin already pulling Lieberman stunts, as this didn't really feel like someone talking because they already knew the votes were there (it also caused a market drop which he had to hurriedly half-ass a response to while not actually changing what he said). There is also a lot of sudden push to get Lisa Murkowski to change parties, which doesn't suggest much confidence in him. I guess we will see. I just hope if he has stopped the checks he and his daughter can give us some of their money instead.

It's the latest version of the "I didn't support this man...wait I did...but I didn't really support him" game.

She's sick in the head. I used to enjoy her work up to the early '90s...kind of sad when Madhouse is your last entertaining performance, and when you were only of value when you were coked out of your mind. People should just ignore her, the way all television and film audiences have for 25 years.

    • I'm not sure how I felt about it, but I do kind of like that it felt like the show telling us this concludes the first chapter of the series. Could be interesting if they only do it for big aftermath episodes. The biggest mistake with Martin is that it's almost hard to buy his anger because we've gotten no strong scenes with him and his parents. They've all been with Anita/Vernon. I can't even remember him ever even saying one word to Nicole, even in passing.
    •   Thank you! Agreed on both posts. And the comments about Mike Manning are nonsense.
    • I haven't watched yet, but did they explain the current ownership of The Bistro?  Because when RonC was writing, wasn't he applying for work with Sophia?
    • I think Brandon has gotten better in normal day to day scenes, but he’s very over the top when the character is meant to be angry or agitated. I did laugh when she started yelling at Leslie and then when he started to throw all those damn books, lol. He needs an acting coach to work out some of these kinks.
    • I've never found him as bad as some. I think he's always shined in scenes with Vernon, who should be his father. I also think he has great chemistry with Kat and Dani which I hope they tap into more over time. Dani/Martin feel like such a fun and believable Auntie/Nephew relationship.
    • I'm fighting for my life on another board for my husband Brandon and I'll do it here too lmao
    • I don't expect Lois to be the same person she was 25 years ago, but she's definitely lost a lot of what made Lois unique.  It's clear the show doesn't know how to write for her, and the sole purpose of Lois is to hide this Gio secret.  It's a shame she doesn't interact with more of the canvas.  It's a waste of Rena's talents. I like Brook Kerr most of the time.  She can be hit or miss.  I totally get what you are saying about her line readings too.  I honestly think the character really suffers being stuck in the Curtis pairing.  She's much better than Tanisha Harper's Jordan lol.
    • Friday and yesterday's episode is what daytime television should be. The other shows airing could take a page from yesterday's show.  I loved the rage, hurt and anger Nicole unleashed on Ted.  Daphnee should be up for an Emmy nom for these scenes.  It broke my heart to see how Dana had locked Eva out.  I do feel sorry for Eva.    I am still bumfuzzled as to why Leslie/Dana went to the DuPree's and asked them to accept Kat UNLESS Eva is really Kat's twin (and really Nicole and Ted's daughter that maybe they though they lost or an embryo Dana/Leslie stole??) I loved how Anita and Vernon both shot her down.    Ohhh and let me just say Friday and yesterday was the MOST fire I have seen Martin have since the show started.  Maybe Brandon Clayborn is coming into his own with the role finally.
