It is probably the most expansive hack of the government's data ever. At this rate, the hacking episodes in 2015 don't compare since it affected mostly private companies. I read about this a few days ago and even then the report warned that they had not even begun to scratch the surface, especially in terms of how much data could have been accessed.

It also seems to have involved hacking deeply into the power grid, which makes me very worried about NYE or the days right before or after.

Okay, correction: according to what I am reading, the hack still involves more non-governmental than governmental agencies. So, there's that.

What's still cause for concern is just how many of these non-governmental agencies could have links to government agencies and departments, in the form of contract work, like Solar Winds, etc. and could provide a virtual 'back-door' to certain agencies and departments within government.

And Big Mouth in the White House has had absolutely nothing to say about any of this. Typical.

Was it a secret though? Someone displayed a copy of a letter they received from the Trump "campaign" and in fine print there was an LLC listed in the letter as one of the recipients of any donations. The other entity listed was the RNC and only a meager portion would be going to his "re-election" campaign. That has "Duh" written all over it.

Why doesn't any of this surprise me? Biden should not let any of these greedy, soulless, amoral beings off the hook once he takes office.

Not pursuing criminal action against these trash people would be a huge disappointment and I wouldn't support another Dem ever!

The GOP want to bankrupt cities and states, especially blue cities and states. They aren't being shy about this. They aren't being subtle. And they know they can get away with it, because grifters and faux-leftists like Jimmy Dore, Krystal Ball, and Kyle Kulinski who run so much of the conversation in progressive circles today will make sure Republicans are spared.

It's time for all those billionaires who claim to care about America to pony up and give the money to help cities that is not coming at a federal level.

I don't think any of those people run the conversation in serious progressive circles these days. But other very annoying people sometimes do.
