Good. I hope these Covidiots are stranded all night.

And then this. What a dumb ass.

@Juliajms I thought this might give you a laugh.

It most certainly did. I posted it up thread, but yes,  it made my night thinking of these CovIdiots stranded out at Eppley. It's 24 degrees out there. I hope they are freezing their asses off. I'm also thrilled that he insulted them by saying they are better off with government aid than working their farms.

What isn't so funny is that there were around 10,000 people at this super spreader event. 😡 Covid is already running rampant here.

Yeah I deleted it soon after, so if you need to delete this too feel free. Sorry about that.

Not at all. I appreciate that you thought of me and that you chat with me about my little corner of political hell.

Things are getting less funny. There is only one elderly person I wish harm on and he jetted away.

Why does anyone think Trump will suddenly surge this last week?  Anything could happen but do these people think something specific is going to occur?

BTW, if anyone is interested in early voting numbers by state @WinWithJMC on Twitter does a good job of gathering and compiling info throughout the day and usually every morning releases a report (under Media section).  @ElectProject also does a good job compiling early voting info.

Over 70.4 million have early voted so far and 90-100 million are projected to early vote before Election Day. 136 million voted in 2016 and 150 million are projected to vote this year (so 2/3 are expected to vote early).  Texas has already reached 87% of their 2016 vote.

I don't think at this point there is any big incident that will bring a new surge of support, unless they care a lot more about this Hunter story or Amy Covid Barrett than they seem to. I do think there is a huge amount of support for Trump that doesn't show up properly in national polling - the swing state polls are tight enough that it could be an extremely close race. And if it is, that's all Trump, SCOTUS, and the media need.

I did read that some of the big Republican counties in Florida have had their early voting hours cut because of a hurricane, so that might make a difference.

Anyway, in less depressing moments, here's a great commentary from Amber Ruffin.

Those stranded rally attendees are the perfect metaphor (and perhaps a growing sign of what's to come?) for the relationship between Trump and his cult followers.

I have been laughing all morning at that Omaha story. Few things are better than when MAGAts get the treatment that they wish for everybody else. I like this guy.

Pennsylvania seems so unreliable (especially since, similar to Wisconsin, the GOP there have made it clear they are going full-throttle into voter suppression and declaring victory). I guess that's one of the reasons Biden's campaign is trying to find other places, like a late play for Texas. The options seem much narrower in state polling than they do in national coverage. (it doesn't help that there's also a lot of uncertainty about Nevada this year)
