Unbelievable.  That's usually how gang rape works dummy!  Of course, he thinks we are the dummies and aren't smart enough to parse his language.

He's supposedly one of the greatest legal minds out there and he doesn't know when to shut the @@@@ up?

IKR?  He really thinks saying he was a virgin back then and that he was never involved in any sexual activity "with more than one woman present" clears him of any wrongdoing in our eyes.  Like, it doesn't even register in his allegedly brilliant legal mind that all he's doing is digging a deeper hole for himself.

I've said it before and I'm saying it now (and to hell with how it sounds): he was better off saying he was gay.

This is lazy and crass even by CNN standards. Not only erasing the black women who supported Anita Hill, but retroactively claiming all kinds of men supported her when even many allegedly "liberal" men in the Senate let her hang out to dry.

That's some strong, revisionist b.s.  About the only group I remember supporting Anita Hill WAS women, and WOC in particular.  For the most part, men were just cracking jokes about "Long Dong Silver" and pubic hairs on Cokes.

It looks like the increasingly desperate GOP are trying to muddy the waters with claims about other men coming forward to say they attacked Ford.

I wonder if this was anything close to what they thought Whelan was going to do, and he just went off the rails.

All of this is just repulsive and sick beyond belief. I can't believe this is where we are. And that this has become the new normal. It's just going to get worse and worse, more and more depraved and unclean. Pure sociopathic evil.

I don't believe what's going on here.  Now we've got men coming forward and saying they, and not Kavanaugh, attacked Ford all those years ago.

Men actually copping to attempted rape to clear another man's name?  Am I [!@#$%^&*] dreaming?  Because, this [!@#$%^&*] can't be real!

It galls me, too, how many are letting it slide that Kavanaugh says he never became so intoxicated that he blacked out and couldn't remember what happened the next morning, yet questioning whether Ford, Swetnick and especially Ramirez are remembering correctly "because, after all, they had been drinking."  Does it occur to any of these people that maybe they, too, never got so drunk that they couldn't remember what happened later?  Like, am I supposed to believe that everyone involved is or was a blackout drunk EXCEPT Brett?  COME ON.

Wordy McWord.

Today promises to be more nail-biting than any soap has been in quite the while.  "What will SHE say?  What will HE say?  What will the Committee say?  And, as always, what about Naomi?"

    • Nope still in development. ABC/Disney are having their upfronts today though, so there's a very slight hope we might get an update.
    • Has anyone ever posted January and February 1974? I can't find them in the 'Look Back to 75' thread. Thanks.
    • Did January and February 1974 DSN ever get posted? I can't seem to find it in this thread.
    • I agree. Especially after SilkPress got back to her apartment and started to mock Nicole. Her dislike for Nicole and seeing her as a threat to her getting Teddy Bear is growing worse. So I could see her pulling a kidnapping on Nicole at some point. If anything she was going there to poke the bear and got pressed (pun unintended) when the bear gathered her.   Completely understandable.

    • I swear this entire time I thought Roman knew about the Phillip/Vivian letter lol.  I do like how mature Roman/Kate are as a couple.  It makes me sad the new writers never got a chance to write for John/Marlena. I agree with @AbcNbc247 that the Felicity stuff is a bit after school special-y.  I am pretty sure that (most) of the viewing audience is aware that a grown man should not be shouting at any teenage girl especially one with disabilities.  Just let Xander apologize and move on. Linsey Godfrey was in her Sarah baby voice mode today and it irritates me to no end.   I know it's a cutesy thing her and Xander do but it's annoying. Bringing Kevin back is strange, but I do like the use of history.  I do think Rex probably could have been used instead, but whatever.  I don't care about Rex much either lol.
    • I mean over the past decades. But I do agree that in recent years now, the writing is not working for them as well as it used to then. It's same old, same old...which is what made the Damian storyline refreshing. At least for me.
    • Did Denise give any interviews where she talked about her first few years on GH... '73-75? I wonder if she had any regrets leaving Days for GH, as from what I've read, the show was in the dumps writing-wise, so am thinking she didn't have great story? Any Leslie story highlights I've seen always start with '76, after Gloria Monty took charge.
