This amazing woman Aliya Rahman is articulate and wise in relaying her experience. Amazing in multiple ways. Very much worth watching the whole thing.
She is disabled and was dragged out of her car by ICE, and gives a detailed account of what happened. She and the other detainees (kidnap victims) were referred to by ICE as "bodies" and not as human beings. I'm paraphrasing: She is an American citizen and should not have been taken, but she says that also, the others shouldn't have been taken regardless of their citizenship/residency status, as we are all human beings.

the situation in Minneapolis is escalating into outright war....

Yeah the n@zi "immigration agents" are trying to terrorize the city. They are arresting people and entering homes without warrants. They are throwing teargas grenades at quiet protesters for no reason other than to get reactions. They attacked a bystander who was filming as a witness, claiming that "filming" is "domestic terrorism".
But THEY are the terrorists.
The n@zi government lies about it all and blames the victims every time.

We are at the point where Godwin's Law is no longer a thing ... The government hasn't gone as far as gas chambers yet, but they are doing deportations and concentration camps. It's no longer an exaggeration. They are behaving like n@zis.

DHS (Dept. of Homeland Security) budget approved by Congress U.S. House of Representatives today.(Jan.22)
which continues funding for ICE.
220 yes, 207 no.
Seven Democrats voted "yes".
If they hadn't, then it would have been 213 yes, 214 no.

This hasn't been voted on by the U.S.Senate yet.

That won't make a difference. All Republicans have lost their spines and just nod and do whatever their Führer wants them to do. They are just as complicit in this as the administration. As are the Democrats who voted yes in the House to keep funding ICE.

Tim Walz had planned on running for a third term as governor of Minnesota. But, a few weeks ago, he said that there is so much happening in his state that it would be impossible for him to govern effectively while running an election campaign; and therefore, in the interests of the people, he's going to * only * govern, and thus will not run for reelection.

Walz has been dealing with the federal government's accusing some Minnesota agencies of fraud, which resulted in the federal government denying funding to Minnesota childcare. This was because the federal government dislikes that there are Somali immigrants living legally in Minnesota -so the funding thing is a racist thing. [There were some actual fraud cases which were prosecuted, but most of this was publicized by the feds in an exaggerated manner to attack the Somalis and to punish Minnesota for being liberal.]
That fraud mess was already happening before the ICE attack on Minneapolis began.

Senator Amy Klobuchar is making preliminary plans to run for governor.
