The suspect was found dead, supposedly committed suicide supposedly with a self-inflicted gunshot.

How convenient.

He was also a "men's rights activist" and a Fox News regular. I imagine we will hear the media say little about that.

In a sea of dishonesty, at least some politicians tell the truth, even when they'd have reason not to.

And Gillum bares his soul here. If only other public figures that we've seen break down would submit to therapy.

I watched this last night just before I went to sleep. Honestly, his words were what I needed to hear during this tough time. I’ve been having massive emotional struggles myself, and his talking about “being kind to yourself” and “perfecting the mask of being in public”... just some of the stuff that resonated with me. Bravo to this man for being so open and honest about his journey. I do hope he finds more peace as time goes on - I still think there was lots of dodgy business over his election loss to DeSantis, but all we can do for now is find a way through this current time.

I do too. FWIW, DeSantis has been horrible at the job of governor, but we all know this.

"But some leaders in the Black community, grateful for a widespread discussion on race, worry that what should be a moment for racial justice in Portland could be squandered by violence."

DHS is whining about how the mayor and governor don't want them there but with the militaristic tactics being used by the feds in unmarked vans, is it any wonder that anyone with a shred of regard for human life and dignity wouldn't want the feds to be involved? It was hard for me to even decipher what the message is in all the protests because the violence has completely taken over.

Yeah, yesterday was all kinds of fun. I haven't read the affidavit but I remember a lot of the shenanigans around that nuclear power plant bailout. It was kind of infuriating to watch the news conference and realize just how coordinated the whole campaign was.
