That said, those scenes were absolutely disgusting. And the fact that they thought slapping a little PSA scene at the end would make it better was insulting.

Yeah, I know it's still VERY early, but thumbs down for Bess and her Mr. Peabody lookin self. Where on earth did she find those glasses...

It's either too clever for me, or incredibly lazy. Made worse by the fact that one of Jessica's splintered personalities is hallucinating about one of Viki's splintered personalities. It's not even the real Nikki Smith! (which I admit is yet another oxymoron).

People talk about the rape story being ruined, but what about Malone's 1995 DID story where, while insanely entertaining and even campy, he also finally put a realistic level and explanation to Vicki's DID. Tess getting her baby delivered by Nicki talking to her about being in Heaven is just... I dunno. Too much for me

Just watched Friday's. Oh I forgot one more complaint about yesterday's show--John's "hanging". No prison holding cell has benches you can kick off first of all, and they rarely even give you one small sheet at night--but you're kinda crazy to HANG yourself and just hope someone notices within 30 seconds or so so you can hope to survive it, let alone have the strength to run away...

ANyway--for today. Man. This show has just become SO weird. I didn't knwo whether to enjoy today's show with glee or justr shake my head at nearly everything. Just some randoms--why did we have John in some mysterious storage room acting liek he was going to war? He was acting kookier than Brody on the mountain. Todd sure doesn't even TRY does he? I mean he just has sex with Marty, after saying how if she gets upset by it after he'll be there for her, etc, and he can't even ACT like he enjoyed it. And then in the hospital that scene with Marcie had some of the most bizarre acting choices I've ever seen from Trevor SJ (I admit I kinda loved it). Bla bla the secret room, etc

Now onto Bess. So unlike most DID cases, and even her own moms, I assume ANY and EVERY alter Jess has will rhyme with that name? OK I already find it odd enough that the wine and glass Nicki Smith was using is still there when her image fades away, but where the HELL did Bess get those glasses from? I *loved* Jean in the 1995 DID story. But she didn't act like this--she didn't tell us EVERY other sentence that she was there to clean things up and fix things calmly--it was OBVIOUS, you don't have to tell us over and over, we get the concept of the "calm rational" alter. And why did the actress deliver every line like she was a cyborg in a bad 1970s sci fi film??

I know exactly what you mean about those hospital scenes...I had no idea where TSJ was going with the scene but for some reason I loved it. It left me really intrigued.
