Speaking of which...the doll appears at 1:30. Had anybody ever spoken that rudely to Myrtle?

Galen was actually recast--I remember when I first saw her they said "the role of galen will now be played by..." and I was thrown cuz I didn't even remember Galen lol. she moved off with Dr Steve.

I dunno if Carter lived there--because Hannah and Dinah Lee from Loving spent a Summer there--theyw ere family friends with Myrtle--and that was part of the Carter Jones story since he had previously dated and beat Dinah Lee

Chris Stamp would sit on the Sofa and Watch TV and Myrtle would Watch Football Games with Chris and Chis and Myrtle would Play Cards. Chris and Erica would go to the Park and Chris had A Dog. Chris thought that He was Ryan's Real Father and Chris and Ryan's Mother had Their Blue Sky Days. I can't Remember if it was Bianca and Chris were in the Fire that Trey Set Erica's house on or if it was Bianca and Ryan that were in the Fire. Then, Ryan found out that Chris was Not his Father and that was when Ryan Decided that He was that Monster and He could Never be A Father. Also, Cameron wanted to be in Movies so he was going to Leave All My Children. Esta didn't want to be there without Her Best Friend so she Wanted to Leave All My Children. Then, they decided to have Chris Stamp be Ryan's Father so Cameron didn't leave All My Children at that Time, but by then Gillian had Already been Shot and Given Her Heart to Laura who was Brooke's Adopted Daughter. Later, Chris was Engaged to Erica. However, Chris found out that Erica Slept with Jack when Lily had The Chicken Pox. That was A Different Lily than the Lily that We Know. Later, Chris Met Another Man in the Park and That Other Man Shot Chris Stamp, but Maddie Saw Chris Stamp get Shot. Jody

When it comes to awkward smoking scenes on soaps, that's right up there with Iris when Mac died on AW. I think Carmen Duncan smoked in IRL, but Sarah obviously didn't at this point. Plus they want minimal exhales so the smoke won't linger and perhaps set off the fire alarms. When Mac died, Iris didn't drag ONCE, she held that cig until it damn near ashed down to the filter.

Oh yes, I know she was too young to smoke (legally). I used to watch SMG on a teeny bopper soap called Swan's Crossing and would refer to her as the "Erica" of that show. When she was cast on AMC, I didn't even see the Kendall/Erica plot coming.

    •     I don't think Neil Wade died in an automobile accident. I think he died of an embolism. Unless he was driving at the time and it caused him to crash. Jeff was the only husband she had who died in a car accident.

The 50s and 60s are over. Storytelling won't go back to that type. The 80s and 90s are over. Storytelling won't go back to that type.   I understand the nostalgia and enjoying a certain type of storytelling that was popular when growing up/being 20, 30 yrs old. That's why I watch TV series from the 70s and 80s and not as much current television. But I understand that people's attention spans have changed and therefore storytelling has changed and everything has gotten more expensive and there are more and more projects competing for eyeballs and the big flashy stuff is what makes people look up from their phones 5 seconds before going back to them.  We can never go back to before.

date: Monday, June 9 | Teresa Zimmerman, Lynn Martin | Steven Williford YAY! Caroline is back in action at the law offices. I adore Caroline! She is a woman of business, and she handles her business quite well. Could this be the chance for Tomas to move ahead at Bill Hamilton Esq.? Madison is doing the usual tests for strokes: smiling, holding out the hands, etc., but I do wonder if she'll have him touch the tip of her finger and then the tip of his nose. That one is not easy at all. Trust me, I know! It's about time Derek becomes useful: helping to take down Dana by witnessing her interrogation of Ashley at Orphey Gene's. Oh, Nicole is showing up to question Eva, re: her interactions with Laura. This will either be a bitchfest or it'll be a heartfelt one. Cantankerous? Yes, Ashley! Call it like you see it! Is Tomas working with Katherine to set up Dana? I pray he is!! Child bride needs to calm her ass down; now she's hugging Naomi as if they're besties again? This isn't your "get out of jail" card, sweetheart. The weight that I am sure is now lifted from Eva's shoulders with Nicole accepting her apology? I love that for her. And I am sure, deep down, it helps Nicole to accept and hear it, as well. Dani showing up for Bill and their children? That's love right there, and you can tell how much it not only means for Bill but might also be reminding him of why he fell in love with her. Watch out, child bride; your time might be up by mid-summer! Katherine, you are sneaky... but I do have this sneaking suspicion this is going to blow up right back into your face before you know it. The awkward face-to-face with Chelsea and Madison. Dani introducing herself as "the first wife" is hilarious. I love it. Chelsea and Madison openly flirting in the hospital by the elevator is super cute!! Notes: Trisha Mann-Grant (Dana) continues to serve up the right amount of camp for American daytime. She's almost too good for daytime. I appreciate the new viewpoint of the outside of Dana's apartment. Nice that we can get these viewpoints that other soaps wouldn't dare to explore. Tide is seen in the scene; Tide commercials air right after. Today's jacket on Alex Alegria (Tomas) fits better than the past few he's worn. Hoping this trend continues.

Leslie to Kat: "The only branch that I want is the one that goes across your behind for your insolence" LOL...if Leslie was her stepmother, she'd have whooped her disobedient azz
    • I continue to love any Kat and Leslie scenes together haha.
