The only thing that came close was the extra in the Park scene which if there had been 2 pre-emptions would have been on May 22, (the chances are there was at least one pre-emption for Dr King's funeral, and Maybe a partial pre-emption on another day and the episode was re-aired the next day(Maybe why Retro aired the one episode twice, though that should not affect repeats unless that episode was put in the library twice and had two episode numbers) I am feeling the timeline is 2 days off which would make that episode in the Park May 22

Don't Panick about THE DOCTORS pre-emptions.....between February and July 1968 there were no pre-emptions!!!!!!! I have seen 2 scripts and the dates are: Friday 23 Feb 1968...episode 1365 and Tuesday 30 July 1968 episode 1477.....so there were no pre-emptions!!!!

There have been some preemptions during that time, For instance Days was Preempted for the Dr King funeral and news on the RFK death on June 6, Days came on just before The Doctors, The episode numbers can't really reveal much, from what I heard they adapted the numbers so a Friday episode ended in 5 even if preempted

Frau Wet Blanket Werner had quite the look on her face, like the cat that ate the canary today.

Continue to love Carolee's character...and how about that swingin' date with those two WILD AND CUHRAZY GUYS! Liz's date had me laughing. William Bogert who played her date later went on to many New York daytime roles, perhaps the longest being attorney Fred Greer on ATWT, who I think was Tonio Reyes' lawyer. Other roles included Curtis Eldon on AW, and several OLTL day parts, including one Claude Quinnet. We also learned from the credits that Mrs. Stark's first name is Hope.

I can see why the ladies loved Jody Lee Bronson...that down home country charm, and he could see right through people's facades and tell them the way things are.

Still loving Martha Allen. Sally Gracie just fits the role so well. I imagine Sweeney was created in the 70s to fill her void when Gracie left.

Is the role of Erich getting ready to start "showing" up?

Matt's reluctance to talk to Maggie is going to start eating him up!

Today we have Zaida Coles first appearnce as Anna. She stays on for a number of years if published cast lists are correct.

She is now 81 years of age.She was married for 52 years to Christopher Fairfield Edley president for 18 years of the United Negro College Fund, a prominent Harvard- trained civil rights lawyer, a member of the United States Commission on Civil Rights.

She doesn't appear to have done any acting since TD .

I'm still in April and LOVING this show. I just wanted to comment on the Temp!Maggie. At first she was an adjustment, but I didn't mind her overall. She was more of a heroine and more neurotic and just as I was wondering how Bethel Leslie would handle this story, she appeared! It was glorious and I'm glad she got to handle the real meat of the story. I LOVE her! I'm going to really miss her when she leaves. I watched one 80s episode and skipped forward and saw a little bit of Lydia Bruce. Considering how long she was in the role I'm sure she'll be great and I'll love her as well, but Bethel is just fabulous.

    • Hold up, hold up, hold up!!!   MADISON MONTGOMERY???   If a Zoe, Misty Day, and/or Queenie shows up...lol.
    • The Producers Guild of America (PGA), while not a union, does have rules and regulations regarding membership, conduct, and yes, credits. Assuming she’s a member of course. Being uncredited for what work exactly? Given her years of experience and multiple Emmy wins - why now decide you want to go uncredited for work you’ve done?
    • That's very sad. What party he represented for and which area he represented?
    • -- Daisy is a terrible name. If you're not going with a family legacy name, you gotta do better than that. -- When Frank is done with a character, he makes sure that character is painted in the worst possible way and the shade is thrown in the script. Natalia is being treated like a punchline to a bad joke....not that I mind. -- So Cody talked about Britt today. Gee, I wonder what's going on.
    • I remember another Phyllis residence -- I don't think that was a set shown abovethread, but I'm not sure.  Trying to remember some things off the top of my head but I might be wrong about part of it: I'm referring to the condo where Phick first had sex after the Michael/Lauren wedding.  I think they specifically referred to it as a condo?  After Stafford's Phyllis went into a coma, Jack sold it and I think he gave money to HunterKing's Summer when she married Austin? Or he gave Summer the condo?    There was a convoluted side plot about someone needing money and something from this was drawn in a shady way.  Something about it being sold?  And then when GinaT's Phyllis awoke from her coma, she had no condo to come back to.
    • Which union rules? SMH. Jill’s back, uncredited.
    • Yeah I don’t get why she wouldn’t be credited if she’s back. That seems odd. I hope it’s true though, because the show needs a change. Badddddd.
    • The casino scenes came out of nowhere in comparison to the rest of the week, but at least there was some movement in the storyline. Joey has really made a fool of Vanessa. Chelsea is really embarrassing herself with this doctor. The desperation is so obvious and she clearly gets that from Dani. Hayley was giving Donna Logan vibes because that is how Donna acted when Eric had a heart attack. Stealing potential evidence is not going to reflect well on Kat and might throw the case against Leslie. Tomas had no business in Eva's hotel room even if he did shut down her advances. But I think they still might end up together at some point because the book that Eva gave him is the same one Kat called basic which seemed like foreshadowing.
    • So Sharon decides not to go to France and stay behind to support Mariah, but now with Phyllis gloating about getting an invite I’m sure she’ll change her mind.    Mariah’s secret is that she screwed that old man? I’m so confused about what’s going on here, and Mariah coming out and telling Tessa that she can’t know her secret is supposed to do what exactly? Is that supposed to put Tessa’s mind at ease? Lol…. I’m getting Cameron Kirsten vibes though. Did he do something to her without her consent and things went too far? These writers really can’t come up with something original if their life depended on it
    • Eve and Thomas have so much in common--they both like reading (print and audio books) and wow they both like reading *fiction*!  (Also I would never pick up a book called Mercy and Goodness yawn
