Overall, I think the revival has had a lot of good moments, but the Toadie/Mel/Terese/Paul story has consistently been the most difficult part for me to get through (along with Haz - I have no idea where you are in the story so I should save my ranting on that manchild).

Yeah, the Toadie/Mel thing is driving me crazy. I want them to write her out now, it's been too much. Don't like Haz either.

Mel is a bit too much full-time, plus, I hated her pairing with Toadie.

I'll admit I have a different tolerance level for Toadie and Terese as a newbie having never seen them with others. It's an odd couple, but the engagement and focus on the mutual adjustment for both of them to very different personas/professional lives and the tension with the kids is interesting to me (so far).

Yep, I can't stand Toadie and Mel together.

I'm liking them together. It's a shame they're going back in the Toadie/Mel direction when it doesn't work.

The period you're in does have better writing for them. Unfortunately, that changes where we are now (which is mostly repeating the same scene over and over to prepare for their breakup).

Oh, as someone who has seen them both with others, I adore them together!!

Toadie and Terese are two characters who I never would have thought to put together (and never would have been put together were it not for the cancellation, revival and time-skip) but work surprisingly well. Unfortunately it's hard to get invested because it's clear that their marriage is doomed.

Stefan Dennis needs to submit for Outstanding Lead Actor in a Daytime Drama for the first eligible Daytime Emmys. He'd win. He absolute would. And Rebekah Elmaloglou, Hannah Monson & Matt Wilson are all worthy of the honour, as well. Brilliant, brilliant work. I am in TEARSSSSSSS, and it's not due to flashbacks. It's due to brand-new material. Wow.

I don’t know if it was just me, but today’s ending knocked me for a loop. I genuinely did not see that coming.

A 20-minute montage going through the first Neighbours run.
