Apparently Lewis was tricked by Stella's mother, or Audrey thought he was. Gail was also involved in some sort of setup against him.

I had to laugh when I saw comments claiming she was leaving because of Stuart Blackburn. If she was leaving because of shitty producers, she would have gone in 2006.

Is coronation Street a "Daily Soap" like here? Also, what is the Delay of these Hulu Episodes?

Yes it is on a few days a week. It seems to be a two week delay from the UK.

Corrie airs five 30-minute episodes a week: two on Mondays, one on Wednesdays, and two on Fridays. The Mon/Fri episodes usually air a half-hour or so apart. Sometimes there are special hour-long episodes.

Why do they air 2 episodes on Friday and Monday instead of once everyday?

Emmerdale, which also airs on ITV (Corrie's network), airs every week night (twice on Thursdays), so there wouldn't be much room for Corrie to air every night without it having to go up against EastEnders. At least, that's what I've always assumed is the reason why they do the double episodes.

Here is the current schedule of English nighttime soaps:

Monday

6:30pm: Hollyoaks (CH4)

7:00pm: Emmerdale (ITV)

7:30pm: Coronation Street 1 (ITV)

8:00pm: EastEnders (BBC)

8:30pm: Coronation Street 2 (ITV)

Tuesday

6:30pm: Hollyoaks (CH4)

7:00pm: Emmerdale (ITV)

7:30pm: EastEnders (BBC)

Wednesday

6:30pm: Hollyoaks (CH4)

7:00pm: Emmerdale (ITV)

7:30pm: Coronation Street (ITV)

Thursday

6:30pm: Hollyoaks (CH4)

7:00pm: Emmerdale (ITV)

7:30pm: EastEnders (BBC)

8:00pm: Emmerdale (ITV)

Friday

6:30pm: Hollyoaks (CH4)

7:00pm: Emmerdale (ITV)

7:30pm: Coronation Street (ITV)

8:00pm: EastEnders (BBC)

8:30pm: Coronation Street (ITV)

Love having CORRIE on Hulu but am annoyed by the two random, extra breaks they have added and their removal of the title cards before and after the commercials (minor, I know, but hey!)

I'm thrilled to see the addition of the show. I might have to try and watch it. I've always wanted to get into it. Now might be the time. It's just much easier to access this way instead of hunting down torrents, or youtube or etc. I wish they'd add EastEnders too.

Please try to watch older episodes first. Don't let the trash of today be your first impression of the show. Please.

YES, please listen to Carl. I don't want to be too vocal about it, but it's incredibly easy to find tons of episodes from the 60s-90s, when this show had life and character and an effect unlike other soaps.

Yeah, that's also why I HAVEN'T gotten into it because of hearing how awful it is lol. I was going to give it a try but I'd rather watch something enjoyable. I wanted to start with older material (like I did with EastEnders by watching/still watching 1985 episodes). I'm glad the episodes are out there, anyone have some places off the top of their head where I can watch/stream or download? I know I can torrent but I'm so impatient lol, even with a pretty fast internet connection.
