He definitely has great hair... :P

LOL @ JP comments. I think someone just filed an application to become an announcer at a certain TV talk show...

Since we reached OT territory I'd like to comment on actual bold & beautiful happenings. But I've just seen Monday so far and it was just blah, blah, blah. Right now an asteroid could kill Nick & Katie and I wouldn't care. These two don't even have to share scenes to annoy me, I'm just sick and tired of both of them.

I was trying to counter that, giving you an example of a truly magnificent male hair, but the image of the divinely gorgeous Claudia Schiffer in the Elsève will haunt me forever! That hair, CG enhanced, looks amazing. B)

Speaking as a straight female... Brandon Beemer is pretty hot. It's the eyes and the smile. And the tapering, long hands.

Having said that, Jay Kenneth Johnson's naughty twinkle always appealed to me more on Days. But some young hotness on B&B would surely not go amiss. I'm tired of Prick and Rigid being pimped as the sole specimens of Male Attractiveness on this show.

ETA: Sheilacurve? Explain please, Sylph.

OK, I know the little girl(s) who play Hope are from the Kid's School of Prompted Soap Acting, but the little sweetie is so cute! Amazing considering she's at that "difficult age" that turned GH's Michael into Demon Spawn.

To ruin this sex-appeal image - god-bless YouTube  - it is so unsexy in Polish (?): http://youtube.com/watch?v=pt4Fb4YKtM8&feature=related

Compared to another "Frolein Wunder" supermodel of the 90s who lives close by to me - I won't tell names although it is already two pages since I talked about myself LOL! - GC pales in comparision, she's too doll-like.

As for Loreal-commercials: I prefered the ones with La Locklear - she has always great hair although she probably gets cryo-frost-shocked after every single public appearance because you can compare pics of her from the 80s and today and they look very much alike. Scary!!!

I still want La Locklear on B&B one day, though. Her and KKL b*tchslapping each other.

Speaking of love - closing a looooong and totally shallow circle :P - I also wub the little cuties playing Hope. Only one twin can really deliver the lines but they are nonetheless so sweet and I would adopt them in a heartbeat.

'Bout time although it's exactly the timing I expected.

Wasn't anybody else creeped out by Storm smiling in opening when only his heart is still around in L.A.?

For the first days, this gave me pure horror - of course before we moved on to google curing Katie.

As for the new style: Great visuals although they changed little except for the close-ups and Michael Stich is always an awesome director. BUT I HATE THE MUSIC. This is soooo MTV faux soapish. <_<

    • Mid 1979 to mid 1981 was A+ quality for the show.   I even found things to like about the show in the final year or so when the quality had somewhat declined.
    • From what I heard, the actress playing Leslie opted to leave so instead of recasting again.. they killed her off.   Holly brought it on herself by lying and pretending Christina was Ed's child.  Although I do think that Rita's actions with withholding that message from Ed weighed upon her.   Even though she won Ed in 1976, she realized over time that she never truly had him. There was no Rita/Tim/Evie triangle.  Tim and Evie dated after Rita broke up with him (which happened before Evie and her mother came to Springfield).  Ironically Tim did to Evie what Rita previously did to him... leading someone on that you're not interested in.
    • I mean, he is but he's also still an ásshole.
    • The most beautiful thing about getting into a new soap opera is getting to know the characters yourself and figuring everything out slowly. And EON is one of the easiest when it comes to that. Pretty soon you are so well oriented in who is who and what are their motivations. I only struggled with the episodes before Mansion of the damned started.  Then after that it's pretty smooth sailing.
    • I don't hate Hayley but she would absolutely cry about falling for Jacob.
    • @BroderickThank you for the reply. Such acting that they Sharon Gabet and the actor playing Draper still played their relationship after it's over. I picked up on it even though I had no idea about their history. That's such good acting/continuity.  Raven has just moved to London and a custody battle is now brewing for Jamey.
    • Ha-ha-ha, I thought it was Marland who turned Mike into a jerk, but apparently not. I get that they probably felt the Mike/Leslie story had run its course, but they should have at least let them have a kid. Especially since they were soon ensnaring him in a storyline with a woman who couldn't have children (Elizabeth). Of course, no one could have predicted there would be a dearth of Bauers a few years later. I remember this! I remember Holly sitting by the phone, desperate for Ed to call so they could stop the divorce. I forgot it was Rita who never gave him the message. What a bitch.

But, yeah, this is the Rita I remember at the beginning: very determined to bag Ed. I contend that Holly never, ever got over it, never stopped regretting that the divorce went through. I wish at some point over the years they had let Holly and Ed reunite for more than a brief affair. It feels like a thread that was left hanging. There she is! I was beginning to think I had dreamed up the Rita/Tim/Evie triangle.
    • In the interview posted on knotslanding.net, William Devane described the Greg/Paige storyline as "juvenile".  From that interview I also got the impression that William Devane was on his way out near the end so he wouldn't have returned if there was a season 15.
    • Just started this show. I’m on episode 3. I’m starting to make the connections and understand the family tree better. Still will take time to fully understand everything but it’s exciting. So glad we have a new soap opera in 2025! Excited to join the discussion once I’m caught up.
