GL: Ellen Wheeler as Harley?

Can't you see it happening? The Cady McClain dream falls apart because McClain wants to be paid more than scale wages, so as a cost-effective measure, Ellen Wheeler takes over the role of Harley Davidson Cooper so they don't have to pay anyone to play the role! Then as a last-ditch effort to create interest in the show, Phillip Spaulding returns... in the form of David Kreizman!

When all the decent actors ditch Springfield for Pine Valley, Llanview or Genoa City, Wheeler and Kreizman will be the last two standing... writing the scenes, holding the camera, acting out monologues, and editing the scenes together.

LMAO!!! That was too funny. You had me crackin' up when you first started with Ellen Wheeler as Harley Davidson Cooper. She's doing it all! Executive Producer, Director, and now the Daytime Emmy Winning Actress comes back to daytime! The REAL Harley Cooper returns to Guiding Light! LMFAO.gifLMFAO.gifLMFAO.gif

She's an amazing actress and I could see her fitting the role. I hope she ultimately decides to take the role and steps down from her EP position at GL. Let's make it happen! :D

I don't think the OP has suggested anything that EW hasn't at least considered herself.

It actually makes some kind perverse sense when taken in context of everything else that's gone on there. Sets have been reduced to the size of refrigerator boxes, the crew has been cut down to the bare minimum, more than half of all scenes seem to be shot in some vacant lot in New Jersey for no apparent reason, the audio and visual quality is barely up to YouTube home movie standards, and the scripts have been cut in half and are about absolutely nothing, so taking a machete and thinning out what little is left of the cast and having Ellie become a triple threat as producer, director, and star almost seems like the next logical step in the decimation of The Grande Dame.

The funniest and saddest statement of the year. LMAO!!!
