The actress is the fearsome and ferocious BarBara Luna, who played Maria Roberts, the mother-in-law from hell.

It always seems to come down to actors not syncing their departures. I was just so confused as to why the show thought Trisha leaving with her kidnapper/stalker was the best exit. Although I think she returned a few times after.
