Members Scotty
I think you are right....now that I think of it, I believe it was Todd. Who knows....maybe Dorian will waltz into BE, hang the portrait on the wall, and stake her claim. This speaks volumes doesn't it? GH thread for this week so far: 3 posts OLTL thread for this week so far: 301 posts 'Nuff said.
Members Gordon24
I was wondering why Dorian did not spill the beans on Shane's paternity. Instead Rex received a note. Could it be Dorian still playing her games with him or perhaps she is saving that secret for a better time?? Pure evil! I love Dorian!! lol
Webmaster Errol Posted June 4, 2008 Webmaster Share Posted June 4, 2008 What can I say? Us GH'ers hate our show? We have a horrid headwriter and retread writing that puts a slant on characters I used to love seeing - now I wish death on them. The Sonny/Carly/Jason hour is boring as hell and I can't wait until Tony Soprano gets out of that black screen and shoots up upstate New York and the town of Port Charles. He should start with Carly's uterus. So Jess is pregnant and Nash is losing his one life? Can't wait to see more. One Life to Live has always been my go to soap when I was in soap hell. Happy they aren't disappointing. Which reminds me to trade notes on how good the show is with Nelson Branco.
Members Ryan
OMG! Stay out of our thread Errol! You were glad Guza came back. Keep your pro-Guza energy away from our OLTL love.
Webmaster Errol Posted June 4, 2008 Webmaster Share Posted June 4, 2008 I was glad when the writers came back only because the dialogue on the show was horrible during the strike...they weren't as prepared as OLTL was with Ron Carlivati. I think the saying goes "be careful what you wish for!" I won't make another wish for a LONG, LONG, LONG...........time! I've also hated Guza's writing since 2000, btw. I always remember his good era - but now I credit the team he had then, not him himself.
Members Ryan
Ok good. You're forgiven. Now that you're in the "Church of Ron Carlivati," make sure you put money in the collection plate. Don't be cheap and try to skip out out....or you'll meet this guy. We don't play here...we'll cut ya.
Members Vee
I think the kid who played Eli The AIDS Boy left to do more films. He was in Sleepers and then In Dreams right after OLTL with Annette Bening, a bizarre movie about an underwater city and a cross-dressing serial killer played by Robert Downey, Jr. Eli played the young (and cross-dressing) RDJ. On an odd note, Rockstar Games has an odd habit of employing lots of OLTL'ers. Eli The AIDS Boy and Connor Paolo, who played Travis, did voices for Rockstar's game Bully, and now Doris Belack (Anna Wolek, an original cast member) and Tim Adams (Ron Walsh) have major roles in Grand Theft Auto IV. You are correct: I have no life.
Webmaster Errol Posted June 4, 2008 Webmaster Share Posted June 4, 2008 Not the only one that noticed that Vee, lol. At least Tim is getting recognized for more than his body, lmao.
Members All My Shadows
Doris Belack is part of the Grand Theft Auto family now? Wow, I think I've seen it all. Let's see Helen Wagner do a guest spot on "Family Guy."
Members EricMontreal22
Eli was one of Claire Labine's stories when she first came on wasn't she? A bunch of those episodes are on youtube--with Todd and his parrot, etc. I remember Labines era starting with such promise and so quickly it jsut not working but it did always bug me Eli disappeared. I didn't realize hw asin In Dreams a movie I *love* -- yes it's a weird half Nigthmar eon Elm Street movie half fairy tale but done by one of my fave directors Neil Jordan who of course did Int with the Vamprie and Crying Game, and Company of Wolves so deals with those themes all the time *ahem* anyway. Lotsa great stuff today. It made me realize--have Roxy and David really bonded before? such comic gold. My main gripe is with ABC.com. I missed yesterday's episode so read the recap for it yestertday and for some odd reason the recap they had was for TODAY'S episode so I knew everything to the end. One question I somehow missed--what was Pamel'as excuse for givin up Jared's secret?? Money? I had to answer the phone during one of the conversations

Members cubsgirl
I too was waiting for her to snap her fingers and two guys would come walking in with a huge portrait of Dorian that she would put up in place of Asa's. I love Dorian. She is selfish, self-centered and will manipulate and I just LOVE IT! She is one of those "villians" you find you can cheer for because there is just this amount of class while she is screwing with in the process.
