We are so used to seeing just about every woman on TV having had some sort of work done, as well as being touched up/using filters for photos that seeing someone like Marcy look like the lady at the supermarket is a surprise, especially when they have been out of the public eye for years. and we have an image of them in our minds.

Having said that I don't think the scraggly blond locks are the most flattering do.

I didn't recognize Kristen Meadows or Sherilyn Wolter at all.

I agree with @Paul Raven that Marcy would benefit from a shorter haircut but otherwise I think she looks nice. You can still recognize her and she seems very happy to be there. It's nice to see her enjoying herself and this is the moment the long-suffering Cruz and Eden fans deserve (yes I know they aren't their characters).

Can we talk about how great Judith McConnell looks? Get her on a soap!

Vincent also looks terrific. He's aged well.

So nice to see Carrington Garland there.

Surprised at how many showed up, especially those whose characters were not handled all that well, i.e. Scott Clark and Heather Donnelly.

But it is still great that Vicent Irizarry, Jane Rogers, and so many other actors did show! Maybe it was nice enough behind the scenes that the fonder memories remained.

Thrilled to see so many favorites there, i.e. Carrington Garland. And Judith McConnell looks fabulous!

ETA: Gordon Thomson obviously looks different with the white/silvery hair, but I do think he looks good. I'm not surprised he attended. When on the air, he often raved about the writing and seemed to truly enjoy playing Mason Capwell.

Personally seeing Marcy there just made me so emotional

....she looked gorgeous and ageing gracefully out of the public eye. Her being healthy and smiling after all that she has gone through in the recent past was everything...

Also yes...I know they are not that their characters, but the way the writers botched up their story line in the end to phase Marcy out, it was actually nice to see them chatting away to glory after all these years.

Loved all the pictures and videos from the event , hope there is a feed somewhere of the entire meet up, would actually pay to watch it.

Amen.. She really seemed so happy to see not just A but everyone...Finally after all those attempts A made to reconnect with her.

Looking back at the photos from the previous page I just saw that Harley Jane Kozak was there too. Richard Eden. So many people.

Now if only a producer could take the opportunity to use some of this talent while they still can.

Wow!! It is so nice to see these photos!!

I did not recognize so many of them. Some of these people I last saw when they were on SB, so many years ago, so I remember them solely by how they looked while on the show.

I am so happy to see Marcy there! I have seen some interviews with A where he mentioned not being in contact and her just staying away from the business. So it is so nice to see her there with him and others. It would have been so nice to be at this event. So many memories!!

Same, but I understand why she cut everyone out. And while I may not agree with it, I support her in her decision.

SAME! Her brief stint on The Bay made me realize I need to see her back in daytime. I'm also [not shocked] she is the only Kelly Capwell to show up.

I always envisioned her for a Beth Logan recast; Marla Adams was such a miscast, but had Bradley Bell snagged Judith McConnell at the end of Santa Barbara, I do think it would've been a smash hit in casting.

If I'm not mistaken, Carrington Garland was a soap name thrown around for Y&R Phyllis recast in 1997. Other than that I can't think of any other soap roles she might have been considered for.

Robin Wright has been speaking negatively about her time on Santa Barbara for the better part of the last 30 or so years and I'm sure Eileen Davidson knows that Santa Barbara fans do not hold her run in high regard so no surprise they were absent.

I do wonder if Eileen has any positive memories of her time there - maybe she just associates herself with Y&R.

I think Carrington may have auditioned for Mindy Lewis at one point, but I might be mixing her up.

    • Yes, they did.  I still have them.  I think there were three.  AMC and GH as well.
    • Ah okay, thats what I thought. I was hoping I missed the announcement somewhere. Thanks for the clarification.
    • A new day in Salem… and a new day for Days.  I like the way everybody found out and absorbed the news about John’s death, and how they all eventually found their way to Marlena’s to offer their condolences. I’m not particularly sure why they waited until the next day to tell everybody but I don’t really mind it.  We finally got Roman’s perspective! His scenes with Kayla were one of the best parts of today. I’m glad that Roman is thankful for everything that John did for his kids. I agree with posters who said that he should’ve had a scene like this with John, but I’m happy we got this at least.  Julie was used very well today too. She’s definitely the best person for Marlena to have scenes with at the moment. Hopefully, Julie continues to be there for her. And yes, I totally agree with Marlena and Belle sending EJ away when he came to the apartment. I’m curious to see what’s going to happen to his and Belle’s relationship in the aftermath of all this. And, while I enjoyed most of Brady and Kristen’s scenes, I still think the ship has sailed for them. Hopefully, the aftermath of John’s death causes Brady to finally end this thing with her once and for all.  And, I see a lot of people were wearing some kind of shade of purple today.

    • Wow, I love that current and former actors are participating in this. I barely recognize Staci Greason! She looks fine, just very different. But I will be happy to hear anecdotes from her. I shipped RoJohn and Isabella hard back in the day, and I sobbed buckets in my dorm room at college when Izzy B passed. Honestly, I'm interested in everyone's stories. Drake seemed like he was well loved among the cast.
    • When she first appeared, I was sure she was setting Tyrell up for a prank. She was too much of a manic pixie dream girl- I wasn't surprised Tyrell also became suspicious. Now I'm not so sure. If Jessica genuinely likes Tyrell, it seems like a missed opportunity to not have started her out as a bully, then we see her gradually catch feelings for Tyrell.  The McBrides are definitely the "C" family of BTG. They always get last priority. There have been a few times where the Doug/Vanessa/Joey characters reference off screen conversations which seem too important to not show us. Like when Doug thanked Joey for giving him extra time to pay off the loan. When did that happen? Or when we abruptly moved from Vanessa/Joey at Uptown to Vanessa/Doug in the hotel room. The McBrides don't even have their own set - even though Vanessa is a realtor. It's a shame because I am a fan of the characters and actors.

I am also adjusting to KR as Ted but I feel that AM and MJ had way more chemistry as father and daughter than AM and KR. We saw Eva dream of having a real relationship with MJ's version of Ted for months so it's a bit of a bummer not to have that payoff with the original actor except for those scenes in MJ's last episode.  Something I noticed about Eva today is how she takes genuine delight in being a schemer. As badly as she wants to be a Richardson, she still has so much of her mom in her. It was jarring seeing her earnestly promise to steer clear of Leslie in her scene with Ted, then immediately switch attitudes when her mom showed up.  I'm very surprised with how quickly the accident story has been moving along. I was sure that it would be months if not years before people figured out it was Leslie on the motorcycle, not to mention responsible for the potassium overdose. I'm looking forward to seeing how MVJ and Guza avoid writing Leslie into a corner.  Finally, I have been loving the Articulettes story. Bonita Brisker was just the right amount of OTT - remember Sharon is supposed to be even more angry than Tracy is. If Sharon didn't come in swinging, people would say she fell flat. The way Sharon and Tracy describe the breakup is so Supremes-meet-Original Recipe Destiny's Child. I get the sense that MVJ is re-writing the Return to Love Tour as a roman a clef, and I love it. I'm looking forward to finding out what the secret they share is. If Dante Green is as shady as Berry Gordy was, it's something dark. If/when they go through with the reunion, I expect Dante to show up and claim to own the Articulettes trademark in a Lou Pearlman-esque twist.
    • Other than hanging out with Liz, all of Lucky's stories have been stalled out or dropped; the relationship with his son; his wanderlust. He hasn't been involved in any of the action/adventure or con artist stuff. I don't think he's even had a scene with Sidwell since the latter came to town. He's a real after thought. I doubt he's long for the show.
