Yeah, I was so surprised she said that to the nurse too, and even though she called Dr. Carrington to tell the nurse that she was sorry and to give the nurse a week off with pay, it was still weird. LOL

I liked the scene where Marlena was saying that the reason Sami got caught changing the blood tests is because she wasn't a doctor.

I hope this Anna vs Tony storyline will be good.

I caught that too, Toups! All in all, I thought it was another great episode. I'm especially looking forward to the Ireland scenes coming up. This should be a pretty wild ride for all of us DAYS fans hopefully.

I got a Mr. and Mrs. Smith vibe today from the J&M scenes and loved it. Neither trusts the other and both think they have the upper hand. Roman caving in to Marlena again was pathetic and funny at the same time  . I think he knows she did something but he will protect her as always. Had to love Marlena roaming around Stefano's room and her line about Sami in the lab was a nice nod to history. Loved seeing Dee with her reading glasses too. I love the buildup to Ireland. Exciting. John seems impressed with Marlena doing all that she has.

Loved seeing Bo and Hope in action and nice seeing Abe again too. The physicals was a good way to throw everyone into each other's orbit and to set up the Bo stuff. Lexie being a doctor is ridiculous but at least they mentioned how Sami blackmailed her and that her reinstatement was being kept low key. I am guessing Sami admitted putting pressure on Lexie (would've been nice to see that) but still, that wouldn't be enough to bring her back on staff and the COS angle is way too much. However, I am just glad to have her back and will just make up some reason in my head to justify it (Horton's speaking for her, her volunteering at the hospital maybe reading to reinstatement for good behavior, Tony helping her, etc.) That is why keeping her close to Stefano would help because he could've pulled some strings to make it happen. I did like seeing her at work and taking care of Bo. Seeing her friendships with Bo and Hope on display again was nice and her concern over Stefano and his not suffering was nice to see too and very in character. Hearing Stefano call out for "Alexandra" felt so refreshing.

Nice to see Kayla back to work too. Nice scenes with her and Steve and loved the Steve/Crawford face off. I could see both sides and both actors were superb.

Nice seeing Caroline too and Tony and Anna were so fantastic. Tony's hair did look terrible but I love how clueless he was about what Anna really wanted and how annoyed he was with Ethan. LeAnn is just great. Anna could easily be annoying or over the top but LeAnn prevents that and keeps her grounded. A scene stealer for sure and it's so great having her and Tony back. Loved seeing Tony want to prove himself not like Stefano and trying to help see if Stefano is involved with the Claire stuff. Anna/Caroline was nice too.

Really good today. Good character interactions and nice setup. Now, on to Ireland!

if we fans can believe that Marlena, Hope, Steve, John, Roman, and so many other characters can return from the dead... I don't see why we can't suspend reason for a while and accept that they can make Lexie a doctor again..I was happy that Lexie had to pay for her lies to Carrie, but it really wrote Lexie into a corner...As a doctor she gets stuff to do, so i'm happy she's back at work..Also i think we might find out down the line that Stefano paid someone off to get Lexie the job, maybe to get back on her good graces...

Say that again! RJ was at her very best as evil Lexie. Not only was she finally driving a story but she finally embraced her Dimera heritage. The woman was fierce!

I fear she will always be used as the token prop. Renee and the character deserve so much better and I just can't understand why Corday continue to ignore her when she should be playing such an integral part in the Dimera storyline.

    • Vanessa told Joey that her best friend had cheated and has a surprise daughter.  Joey said the same had happened to him.  I wasn't sure if Joey was saying he has an adult out-of-wedlock child?
    • Interesting. I definitely think that it's possible that Jan could be a former lover of Joey's from back in the day, maybe back when he was still married. I won't be surprised if it comes out at some point that Jan used to be an escort or something.
    • Quick question, How are you guys making time to watch all these soaps? I consider myself a pretty organized person, but since I have committed to watching more of the older soaps. I feel all over the place, and can not figure out a schedule that seems to work.  How are you all doing it?   Thanks. I will check that out.
    • Oh, poor Henry had to wait for the grave to finally come "out"! The whole things was McTavish plot dictated so that Hart could have money to pull off his scam of Roger later. The fortune is totally forgotten later. Which reminds me WHY did they fire Hilliard who actually could kinda pass for a midwestern farm boy..from JOISEY Grillo? AM and Lucy's wedding has got to be the weirdest wedding up to that point and really exemplified the McLaiby cheesy run. Universal Studios? And the Spauldings shut the place down for the wedding that only involves 6 people??? Its not even that weird that Bridget and David arent there...they didn't even invite AM's Mom or Grandfather...
    • TBH, I found Felicity's dialogue in those scenes where she encouraged Chad and Cat to admit their feelings for one another more offensive than Xander yelling (although both are bad).  And, I don't get why there is any question of Xander's behavior being offensive, given that he knew that Felicity deserved an apology.  A customer openly expressing anger at a service employee in public is awful, regardless of circumstance. I like giving the character more to do, because there is a value in representing a person with a congenital disorder being employed, given that the unemployment rate in that community tops 83%.  I just hope they find a voice for the character that matches her functioning ability.  As for Cat, I wonder if she is going to inherit any of Clyde's money?  And that was the reason for the phone call.  I know he's not dead, but he could have named her family as the beneficiary of some insurance policy if he were to be incapacitated.  And the call could have been an attorney trying to reach her to give her money.
    • Oh you may have been watching the Teresa/Tom storyline...or "Terry the tumor" as she was called.
    • Are these new?! Damn, he is in the prime of his life.
    • He is a 40 year old large grown man "raising his voice" and calling a teenage girl "careless".  That's inappropriate.  I am not going to argue at the octave of his voice although I would consider it yelling.  Felicity was visibly upset.  She also has special needs, but it would be wrong to do that to anyone in general.  Xander was out of line.  He didn't immediately apologize or admit he was wrong until Princess Sarah was okay.  Idk, go find your wife's epipen instead of berating a young girl.  Or, you know, Sarah could have asked if there was any pistachio in her scone as a pre-caution.  That's how most people with allergies that severe order things. I do think this story or plot point is silly, but acting like Xander did nothing wrong is just strange.  Even if Felicity DID do something wrong was he just going to continue to go on and on while his wife was going into shock?  That's the proper reaction lol.
    • I didn't get that so far so I'll have to keep that in mind if I ever pick back up.  I must have chosen bad episodes because what I saw had some really bad Irish accents from supporting/day players. They were hard to get through and I just didn't have the patience to deal with them. I don't think these accents would be allowed to go through today. I assume these accents were ironed out as the show went on--reminded me of Deas's terrible accent on GL that was dropped because it was so bad.
