January 14, 200818 yr Member Most of the promos seem to be pushing the fact that "The Real Greenlee" is some mega soap bitch and even the marathon episodes showcased that side of her. By undoing the crash storyline and softening her a bit, won't all the returning/new viewers be disappointed? Her current storyline doesn't exactly scream "she put the B in Witch."
January 14, 200818 yr Member they'll write her the same. She is the new heroine and she's been done wrong by Kendall and Aidan. I expect her to act like a bitch once she finds out about that but they will play it up with her as the victim as she has been for the past few months
January 14, 200818 yr Member Well, since Greenlee's going to fall ill soon, I don't think we're going to see a b!tchy side of her yet. It may be a while until we see how she's written. My preference would be to see her as the b!tchy and deceiving Greenlee - but I don't want to see her propping Kendall and Zach or vice versa. I want her to have her own story, that stays true to her character. I hope B&E change the way they write her, and something tells me that they will because of the way ABC is promo-ing this. We'll see...
January 14, 200818 yr Member You have to be a STRONG character in order to prop someone...... I see her being written saint like at first, but like they said "She put the B in witch"....
January 15, 200818 yr Member Well I think they will right her where they left off in 2005. When SS came they wrote Greenlee differently.
January 15, 200818 yr Member Yeah I suspect we will see "Nice Greenlee" until the ONS stand comes out. Then all bets are off. I don't see Rebecca playing Greenlee as a pathetic needy apologetic whiney mess that Sabine did.
January 15, 200818 yr Member I don't see Rebecca playing Greenlee as a pathetic needy apologetic whiney mess that Sabine did. The sad part is, Greenlee during the Rylee era was pretty much like Sabine's version, without the "apologetic" part.....

With the writers still in their place, I doubt we will see a change. They wrote Greenlee as a bitch out for blood when she first came abaord but somewhere along the line they decided they wanted to make her into a nice girl and she got tamed down.
January 15, 200818 yr Member The sad part is, Greenlee during the Rylee era was pretty much like Sabine's version, without the "apologetic" part..... Exactly. Annie is basically the exact replica of Rylee era Greenlee. Always kissing Ryan's feet, praising everything he does, holding him up as the worlds conquering hero. Thats the writers fault, not Sabine. With the writers still in their place, I doubt we will see a change. They wrote Greenlee as a bitch out for blood when she first came abaord but somewhere along the line they decided they wanted to make her into a nice girl and she got tamed down. I agree. When Greenlee first came back, it was still most of the writing team (sans McTavish) that was in place when Rebecca left. The character was written vengeful and bitchy up until the Crash storyline -- then B&E took over and totally mis-wrote the character because they clearly didn't know the character.
January 15, 200818 yr Member Sabine's Greenlee was a valley girl IMO..... I think sorority girl would be a more apt description... Delta Alpha Psi. If you want a valley girl, check out that horrible Christal Khalil on Y&R... but that's another story, like, fer sure!
