Hmnn... I'm really shocked by this. It looks like ABC is actually making legitmate attempts to diverisfy AMC. (I wish they would do the same for OLTL and AMC). Peebles is an excellent actor and I'm very impressed.

That's why I am impressed. By bringing back Debbi Morgan and Darnell Williams and adding Mario Van Peebles to the cast, they are proving that they are serious about the diversity on the show. For all the crap that TIIC have been doing, I have to give them props for adding serious black actors to the cast. I hope that they will write well for them now that they have them on the canvas, though.

Wow, right on! I love how AMC has becoming multiple shades not just one color like they have been for the past few years. I love that Erica is getting an interracial romance and a story for that matter and how she could be tied to Dre/Colby. Sounds good... but as many of you are saying wqe now need clear concise writing and vision....

I wonder what this means for Walt Willey. In the past, when not romantically tied to Erica, he was pretty much wallpaper and used infrequently. I doubt the Jack/Julia thing is going anywhere, especially with Sydney Penny rumored to be out soon. Hope he is not sacrificed for these big budget hires. I don't see them getting rid of Melissa Clare Egan. Hiring Billy Miller was the only thing the show did right this past year, and getting rid of Annie would render Richie irrelevant. Whatever is going on behind the scenes, it looks like TPTB are really doing their best to save the show.
