Members brimike
I may make the cliched obvious joke now and then, but that don't mean "I don't know no grammar." *taps foot impatiently* Still waiting, Mr. Toups...

Members Y&RWorldTurner
Hmm, look what Lorraine Broderick and Felicia Minei Behr are up to. Since they're still active, is it too much to hope that can return to AMC and make it good again? Don't answer that, I know... http://www.philly.com/philly/entertainment...ate_a_soap.html

Members Soapsuds
Ironically, we have a member by that name. I have chatted with him too. He has a blog. A good one at that.

Members Faulkner
Ya got that right! Why is no one chomping at the bit to get them back? (I think I already know the answer to that one.)
Members Jonathan
Has there ever been another time in ABC Daytime history where all of its soaps's headwriters were men? Just curious.

Members dm.
It originally was on a separate thread, but someone moved it to this one.
Members Sylph
Yes, precisely - the unending doom! How Tolkien of you. I love your doom & gloom posts! A lexicographic note for those who care: Tolkien used the word doom in the sense "fate" ("as opposed to modern usage, doom in this sense is not necessarily bad"). What I find hilarious is that when there is a separate thread in the news, someone usually opens a separate topic in Discuss the Soaps talking about exactly the same thing the news thread covers. Like with Pratt Jr. - we had the news, then someone opened a new one discussing how he will do on AMC. We've spent the previous 7 pages talking about that already in the news!! And then everyone just keeps recycling their posts from over there... Hilarious!
Members sudz4u
I agree it should've been kept a separate thread. It kind of got buried when it was moved here.
