They were said to have a volatile relationship.

In interviews, I remember Tatum O'Neal alleging that her father Ryan O'Neal was physically and emotionally abusive, which he denied. She also said that it was McEnroe's hot headedness that attracted her (she felt he was reminiscent of her father but claimed McEnroe was a much better man than her father), but she also claimed to have a worse temper than John, which she blamed her father for her temperament. She did once say that John  punched a wall, which seems pretty scary but coming from her violent upbringing, I guess it seemed milder in comparison. I do remember an interview where she stated that after a loss on the tennis court, McEnroe could be difficult to live with, as if she had to walk a tight-rope with him. (I can easily imagine at least one ATP player whose wife may feel the same after a loss.) What's most odd was to hear O'Neal express regret that she divorced McEnroe last year, but it is probably as a result of feeling vulnerable, with her having just been diagnosed with rheumatoid arthritis and being single.

According to this article, they worked together for two years when she was a Junior player. They recently reunited in July.

Apparently, she wants a coach that has experience on the WTA Tour. I don't think her ex-coach will have much trouble finding a new player to coach.

It's a bit of an eyebrow raiser but it has happened on both Tours. Didn't Thiem dump someone on his coaching staff after the U.S. Open?

Lemme be the first to say that I am no big fan of Carillon, but she did stand behind her convictions in regards to the Sandgren stuff and she clearly stood behind her convictions in regards to this Zverev scandal.

By the way, BTR also has a YouTube channel and the podcast interview is also uploaded there.

Sloane only gets up for the Williams Sisters, Madison Keys and maybe Vika. Most of the rest of the time, she's half-asleep. Yet, I rarely hear her get told to retire, over and over, which hey, it's her prerogative, like any other player. Just saying, both Williams Sisters were playing consistently high-level tennis with a much stronger competitive field when they were Sloane's age.

Thanks for posting this! I'm a Carillo fan. Listening/Watching on YouTube. Mary believes the ex girlfriend allegations. I have seen and heard her commentary on Sascha matches and she always brings it up but the other commentator that's with ignores it.

She was also very upset when it took TC forever to fire Gimelstob after his fiasco with his ex and her friend.

She even gave some shade to Roger for not saying anything about Sasha.....allowing him to play the laver cup. Her laughing that only top players were there when Nick and Jack Sock were there.

I always wondered how they got paid. Now I know...glad she didn't call Sandgren match. I can't believe how much TC continues to pimp this person by showing his matches.

This guy is so Overhyped. Useless Patrick McEnroe is already saying he will win the French in 2 years. All his wins this year were 250s...he hasn't won a 500 yet much less a 1,000. I just saw he'll be seeded #6 at this weeks Indian Wells... talk about a depleted field.

    • Kim used to say that you can tell when she was unhappy because she would try weird or new things with her hair.  I don't think Rauch was at OLTL at the time Zimmer was but their producer at the time probably wasn't much of a peach either.
    • I wonder if less set use was preparing for the move. They probably were preparing for this for awhile now
    • The early part of the season is decent. After that, Season 9 is one of the worst seasons until season 13. Season 10 is a little worse.    That would have made sense, even if it cost us one of my favorite scenes (Ben putting Lilliemae in a headlock). That's an excellent storyline and leads to the show's last strong season finale.
    • The TVC Studio 31 that they used for 38 years was only about 13,730 sq ft., according to the TVC website specs: https://televisioncityla.com/stages-offices/ Sunset Las Palmas Studios has 11 sound stages, which go up to 20,000 sq ft., though we're yet to learn which of those sound stages will house B&B. Depending on which one, the specs for it can be found here: https://www.sunsetstudios.com/los-angeles/las-palmas-studios/ Sound Stages 4, 5 and 9 are available for use starting September 1, 2025. It's unclear if either of those stages would be used by B&B since they begin production there starting Tuesday, August 19, 2025, which would be before the date shown on the website, but we shall see. Of those three sound stages, only Sound Stage 4 and 5 make sense since they are larger than the specs the show had at TVC, while 9 is quite smaller.  Sound Stage 4 would be the best option overall for B&B since it has 18,819 sq ft., the largest individual sound stage at the lot - Stage 3 and Stage 8 share space, which combined makes the space 19,900 sq ft. --- Forgot to add, unless there was an issue with storing the sets, the changes at TVC should have had no issue with production on the show, resulting in fewer set use as there has been no movement in terms of construction that would impact either show (B&B/Y&R). Of the 2-3 times I've been at the studio, the most recent for Don Diamont's 40 years at CBS, it was the most dead I had ever seen the space, but that could be due to vacations, holidays, or the preparation of the B&B move.
    • I didn't post about it in the BtG thread as I still don't watch the show (an hour runtime is just too much for me right now with a new soap I can't just mostly skip through) but I can't imagine the ego of someone who is hired as a breakdown writer and decides to [!@#$%^&*] their own name all over the show. Classless beyond belief. Any writer who cares more about masturbatory behavior than quality of work should not be hired.
    • Yeah, it would've made things more tightly woven.
    • I like Chelsea and Madison. Two very pretty black women as a potential couple. But I really wish this show would've showcased two very handsome black men as a couple instead.
    • I didn't even think of roasters from GH

Maybe this roast will take even more than two years
    • Irna wasn't involved with ATWT at the time of Neil's death, was she? I'm imagining a situation where right after his latest doctor's appointment, he's killed.
    • The Cruise of Deception was the first thing that came to mind when I mentioned that Brady might take after that side of the family
