ATWT: New Opening Debuts on April 30th

It is funny that they would play the new theme in the bumpers before it actually premiered in the opening

.

"What we have is a failure to communicate"

I am going to reserve judgement on this until I see it.

As someone (a traditonalist) who liked the original, the second and the elegant four seasons theme I don't know if I'm gonna lile it!

So is April 30th really legit this time???

I kind of like the updated theme in that bumper - so I'm looking forward to seeing visuals with it.

And damn Michael Park is so hot in that bumper of his....

Like I said b4...think of it this way. Fans were shocked when Jack Urbont's theme, "The World Turns On and On," debuted in November 1981...it was modern for its time, and fans were surprised b/c they felt that the theme/opening did not fit ATWT's image. The same could be said about this theme...it is modern, which is nice. And we may not be as shocked like in 1981 as All My Shadows has said, but surprised nonetheless.

i loved that SB opening. THnks kenny for posting

It sounds alot like Sunset Beach's original opening (that is, when the SuBe theme hits the :22 spot).

I don't watch ATWT, but from the look and the sound of that bumper, I like it! It's modern and sexy! Thus, me likes it! :D

I just noticed that also, I hope it still happens though, if it does not happen I think it will be time for a hand written letter to the heads of CBS explaining my disgust about this and then I will also go into detail about what I find wrong about the show, it would probably be the biggest letter they have ever gotten.

I sorta like it. Its different and it has this edgy feel to it. I like it because its not boring or more of the same old bs. When exactly is the new opening going to occur? Are we absolutely sure its the 30th? Hopefully it will show the whole cast and feature the globe in a new and exciting way. I really like Y&R's current opening. Its just so classy and yet sexy. Plus it makes feel very emotional when I hear the opening but in a good way.

Time for another count down, anyway 23 hours and counting

Will it happen or will they disappoint yet again.

I'll go with disappointed again. Just a guess. But i will have my DVD ready to go on Monday.

This opening thing is more exciting than the actual show.

SOD should print out some spoilers or something "A new look and sound will SHAKE Oakdale on April 30! VCR ALERT!"

I bet they will just show the Finding Nemo opening.

I'll just wait for a YouTubed version of this.
