I agree with the first 3. But Trent is a so so actor. He is more comedy then a serious actor. I dont see him winning. I would be shocked to see Trent win.

I think had the show finished Luke's story when Martha Byrne returned for maternity leave that she would've gotten a lead actress nod.

Glad Martha wasnt nominated. I love her and grew up watching her. But she has won numerous times already and has been nominated lots of times. I like to see new blood nominated like Van Hansis.

I'm so disappointed that Lindsay was snubbed yet again. That final Rome scene was the best written (and that says a freaking lot) and acted scene in all of 2006, but of course because she's from Passions she would get dissed again.

Ryan, you are probably right about Rick. He was on Guding Light for a long time, so he probably had their support as well. He was also on B&B/Y&R so yeah, lots of friends who have worked with him.

Nancy Lee Grahn's snub isn't surprising considering what brilliant years Michelle Stafford and Jeanne Cooper had. Lets review:

Jeanne Cooper - She didn't appear the entire summer and it got so bad she went to the soap press and complained about the lack of airtime. I'm sure it was compelling watching her stand in the background sipping coffee, thus explaining this well deserved nomination!

Michelle Stafford - THIS was her year! For the entire year she giggled and acted opposite acting heavyweight Joshua Morrow. Seriously, we all know those hospital scenes with Peter Bergman are the *only* reason she was nominated.

Honestly I'd prefer they throw out both Y&R nominations in favor of Grahn and Victoria Rowell. Both had what may be their best year and were snubbed royally. But at least Grahn wasn';t snubbed by her own cast three years in a row.

I agree NLG not getting a nom is ridiculos, yet Maura 'fish lips' West gets a nod, she can't even lick NLG's acting shoes.

Whatever, my one joy will be watching Maura get crushed by anyone one of the other women in that category.

GH didn't get a nod for best show? Maybe there is a God.
