I was so happy to see her give it to Derek today and how he pretty much showed no concern for helping out Zoe and getting down to the bottom of the hate crime and finding the main culprit. She gave good analogies of how his nephew, Terrence, was the victim of a hate crime (nice nod to history! Kudos to AMC's writers) along with her own personal experience of being gay. Thankfully at the end Derek wised up and realized that all crimes are important and will investigate Zoe's attack. Still completely enjoyed those scenes. LOL.
