nah, like I said, I could give a rats azz about Krystal. What the 5 did was just wrong. Krystal is the only one in a position to step up about this, bc I dont expect JR to. Babe can too when she gets better but its the same if she or Krystal does it. They are kidnappers who used her for their own selfish needs and the hell with her family and her son. No one has said anything yet (for story purposes of course) but what if Lil A was told his mother was dead. That little boy does not deserve that. Thats beyond cruel

I also want to add that I really want Josh to just punch JR or kick his a$$ one of these days....JR is such a d1ck to him and it is Babe who comes on to Josh, not Josh to her. Then for all the times that Jamie and JR bothered Josh while he was working at the hospital

I still like JR but also want him to get what he deserves and that would be an a$$ whooping from Josh

How is Kendall safer (protected) with Babe dead to the world? She's not safer, she's in more danger. That said, it really makes no sense for them to tell everybody Babe's dead with the way they handled Dani. I doubt Babe won't be in on her death for long though ;). And if there's any jail, only one of them should go to jail a la Babe, Krystal, David, Jamie, Tad, etc... I vote Jeff or Josh. Jeff, since he's the mother - I mean the father - of the most eager "kidnapper." Jeff is in on it right?

seriously I dont know exactly what the heck they are doing but I do know its all about the killer and tricking him up/luring him out in order to protect Kendall from being next on the hitlist

Again I dont want any of them to face actual prison time, but I do want them to be taught a lesson. Maybe a day or 2 in jail wouldnt hurt and the cops coming down on them. I really would like to see Krystal go off on them and I cant stand her, but wouldnt fault her in this instance. If JR wasnt being such a jerk and actually did seem to care for Babe, Id want the same from him. I think the best choice though would be Adam. He could represent for the both of them. I definetly know he'd raise hell and would go for blood

In other words they're putting Kendall in the line of the fire while the killer think's he done killed Babe and is thus finished with trying to kill Babe. There's not less of a chance Kendall won't die now with the way everyone else was saved while the killer was being "tempted."

Again though, I can't defend the dead thing with the way they handled Dani - it doesn't make sense that they HAD to do this. But it's not really like they're keeping her to themselves to save their marriage or anything - in a stupid way they're protecting her from the killer getting any inkling that she's alive and finishing the job.

Don't worry, I'm sure most of them will get yelled at since they're not Babe and their actions thus don't equal some golden type of incredible love no matter what, lol.

I know it's all to prop Babe, but WOW. JR is a MONSTER! Grief and having some words thrown your way are not reason enough to let someone practically bleed to death. JR committed a hate crime. He didn't throw any punches, but he is allowing Zoe/Zarf to linger in all that pain. Not even Adam is this cold.

I don't buy JR's crap about loving Babe. He'll hate her next week.

Um, he did a lot of wheezing. He was in perfect position for low blow and he just kept gasping. Pardon my ignorance because I don't know any transgenders, but doesn't the male part come out and take control? Zoe didn't even try to scratch his eye out and stilletto whip someone.

I know when I'm between a rock and a hard place that I go straight into survival mode and become Incredible Steph!

JR has no soul. He has no respect for life. He is lower then whale feaces IMO. He's one of the most digusting characters on daytime for me.

That is part of the reason why I can't get into JR's mourning of Babe. Aside from the fact that I hate JR and Jacob hasn't brought any of this material even close to emotionally heartwrenching and has just been completely vacant in terms of performence. (Honestly, I think Bobbie, Chrishell and Colin have done much better work with this storyline then anything Jacob has done with Dixie/Babe combo death) I can't get over the fact that just a year earlier this man was trying to kill her. I mean really. Am I supposed to buy that he would be sad about her death? Am I supposed to feel sorry for him that his wife was taken away from him when just a year prior he was the one who was trying to do it in the first place. Please.

We should really stir the pot for him. I bet he'd have a spaz to learn that JR isn't his name either. I wonder if he'd know we were talking about if we called JR, Junior or Adam Chandler the 2nd.

Sounds like MMT went especially brutal with the hackage. Fun [!@#$%^&*].

    • I think Cheryl was essentially replaced by Josie, and it seems likely that Lemay wanted to bring the Frames back into the picture and for a variety of reasons that it would be McKinnons who would make way for them. Cheryl didn't really get many layers -- she was pretty and kind and sweet and faded into the background so that Scott could participate in the AIDS storyline with Dawn. Looking at the AWHP, other than (not very) shockingly being in love with her mother's adopted son Scott, Cheryl apparently went out with Sam and flirted with much-too-old-for-her John Hudson and MJ's ex-boyfriend/pimp Chad. I know MJ told Mary that she had been a prostitute, but did she tell Cheryl and did she tell anyone about Chad's pimping?
    • I feel the same way about Melissa Reeves' Jennifer. She just makes the show feel like home by her presence alone. I am perfectly okay with them coming in every once and awhile, which probably fits Reeves' schedule better anyway. They're connections to Salem are still there: JJ, the grandkids, Jack still owning half of The Spectator ... they're perfect recurring characters.
    • Hahaha. Jean Hackney, Angelica Nero, and the Falcon Crest henchwomen were all straight out of a James Bond movie.
    • My hunch is what you've described. JFP is likely back working on transitioning the show to a new studio and embracing new technology for its production model.
    • The woman who was the co-chair of Latinas for Trump is now complaining about his targeting immigrants that she thought were "safe." I also read a puff piece from yet another "insider" journalist who lives to normalize fascists - this one with a tech bro who was venting off the record because he thought voting for Trump was cool and would show up the Democrats and maybe we'd get Greenland, but now he's getting upset.  These people still support Trump, and Republicans, they just want to make sure they get credit for being respectable. And they will get it.
    • I really do wish someone could. Just a few characters in very simple backdrops, with very real problems that are just a little larger than life, like the '50s and '60s. All the characters having a level of dignity or respect. And their inner lives are what dominate the story, even if there are outside forces at play.
    • It's a lesson to never be loyal because once your use is up, you're shown the door. MSW was the only bright spot for CBS for awhile, and once they were back on top... they promptly sabotaged the show as a repayment for all that the show had done for the network.
    • The show made a mistake in not bringing in more McKinnon kids, specifically bringing back Ben. Kathleen was leaving, and while I like you am very fond of Sally Spencer as MJ, that didn't seem to be a common view. They also decimated the character in a truly sick storyline. So that just left Cheryl.
    • Between Gwen and Cat, the show often seems to side with those who cause lots of cruelty to Jack and Jennifer. I am half-surprised that the show hasn't brought Peter Blake back for more of the same.  I don't really know if there is a purpose for them in Salem now, but I do feel a sense of stability and rightness when Melissa Reeves is back in the role of Jennifer and back in the Horton house, in spite of...well, a lot of offcamera stuff we all know perfectly well.
    • I like to call her an FC-reject character
