Members Kylie
God damn, where do they find time to watch that much TV? I'm lucky if I have 30 minutes to sit down and eat, let alone watch TV.
Members Tzelkos
I knew AMC wouldn't get a bump from it. So now Frons is going to be even more determined to make the show "younger".

Members Andre
How did this help DAYS? Were the increases counted in last Thursday's ratings or were they added after? Because DAYS really sucked the big one in the ratings this week, so did they all stop watching or something?
Members Mason
I guessing it helped in the demos...?
Members jadestar
Aren't they only talking about one week when those demos just happen to go up from the week before? It's also not like those numbers in the demos haven't happened in the past even without the colleges. From the ratings that were released today it shows that Passions and Days are back down again in those demos so I think it's jumping the gun to say that colleges are boosting the ratings. Only if those demos consistently stayed up and improved from what they were in the past would I say that colleges have helped the ratings.
Members R!ck
Notice you will see Toups is reporting the 18-24 Total viewers in the new ratings reports. That's where the shows are up. Here are the 18-24 viewers from last week, in which the article refers. Rank/Soap/Viewers/Percent Change 1. DAYS 231,000 (+33%) 2. PSNS 223,000 (+39%) 3. GH 170,000 (+20%) 4. OLTL 111,000 5. Y&R 89,000 5. ATWT 89,000 7. GL 86,000 (+20%) 8. AMC 84,000 9. B&B 64,
Members R!ck
Of course they will fluctuate. Ratings tend to do that from week to week. Also, even though ATWT, DAYS, PSNS, GL fell this week, they are still higher than they were before the college ratings took affect.

Members Sylph
Does anyone here know how much will this college audience affect the future of certain shows? I don't know exactly how important is the subgroup 18-22 of the larger 18-49, I can only suppose.
