February 7, 200719 yr Member They're late. I used to arrange my entire class and work schedule around Passions (and managed to have no Mondays and Fridays in the process). There was maybe one semester in my entire college career where I had class during Passions. You did that too, Danni? HIGH FIVE, GIRL@!!!!!
February 7, 200719 yr Member Mitch I hope your right about those numbers. I really, really do. If that is what we get, I will be happy. I won't get my hopes up though. Is this effect supposed to first be felt this week or some other time?
February 7, 200719 yr Member Mitch, I hope your predictions are right, but I really don't want to get my hopes up, considering all the times the ratings have let me down in the past. Honestly, though, I'd be happy if the biggest increase we saw was a .1 on average. So I hope we can at least get that for most, if not all the soaps.

Is this effect supposed to first be felt this week or some other time? They said they first started doing it on January 29th - so I would think this week would start showing it. Media buyers expect little impact on overall TV ratings as a result of Nielsen Media Research's inclusion of college student viewing into its national people meter sample, which began on Jan. 29. They have already used it for last weeks Grey's Anatomy which rose a little over 5 percent.
February 9, 200719 yr Member I think I'm the only one I know who watches GL. I know some guy who watches Days and a girl in my class from last semester is a Y&R fanatic. ATWT is more popular than it seems, though. One of my coworkers who is a couple of years younger than me used to watch it.
February 9, 200719 yr Member I thought this article was interesting in shedding some light on how so few people are representing so many. http://online.wsj.com/public/article/SB117...w_20080209.html
