I like it too...

This is the way most soap openings should look if they don't have the resources to make everything look topnotch. They should just stick with themes of the show and stuff(ATWT and their film/tape mix shots opening, we mean YOU!).

The opening is a nice nod to the history of the soap and I assume that it will be used through the month.

I don't think it is being used as filler to update the opening. It was updated when Michelle, Danny, Old Lizzie and Sandy left without a different opening to take its place.

It is their 70th anniversary and they went back to their roots...lets be proud for 5 minutes at least!

The new opening is okay. If you only left the tag line, "There is a destiny...." I would LOVE it. Hopefully they put it in the original opening if we ever get it back.
