I'm seriously NOT racist. I couldn't care less about race in the least.

I don't like Ciara the music artist. I'll mentally associate the name Ciara with the artist. And she happens to be black.

Can you not think a name is ugly just because?!

Ciara isn't an "ethnic" name, anyway! WTF?

And for the record, I'm a raging homosexual, and if they named the child Barbra, Celine or Judy, I would still be like... "eww!" Does that mean I'm anti-gay?

Excuse me? Don't get smart with me, you don't know me. You said 'thanks,' and it was filled with nothing but sarcasm. I think my explanation was completely necessary, as you're trying to make me and other seem like something we're absolutely not... or at least I'M not.

I hate all these name choices too, and if they wanted to go the Irish route; there were other names that are Irish and would tie in to the show's history on screen and off. We all know Soaps like to use unique names at times, but none of these choices sound like names that Bo or Hope would choose.....IMHO

Here are a few Irish names I found that would have been fun to vote on..... :D

Deirdre

Gender: Female

Origin: Celtic

Meaning: Sorrow. The name of a character from Irish legend.

Eileen

Gender: Female

Origin: Irish Gaelic

Meaning: The light of the sun. The Irish form of Helen.

Sheridan

Gender: Female or Male

Origin: Irish Gaelic

Meaning: The wild one

Siobhan

Gender: Female

Origin:Irish Gaelic

Meaning: Form of Jane and Judith. Jane - God is gracious. Judith - A woman from Judea

Fallon

Gender: Female

Origin: Irish

Meaning: A leader. A boy or girl's name.

Christie

Gender: Female

Origin: Irish/Scottish

Meaning:A follower of Christ, a Christian. A boy or girl's name.

Colleen

Gender: Female

Origin: Irish Gaelic

Meaning: A Girl

I think a lot of people voted for Ciara (and I thought voting ended already but you can still vote and Ciara is way in the lead) because they thought it was pronounced differently the what they thought.

I have seen people think it it Kyra which I don't see matching with the spelling in the slightest.

Then SEE R AH or SEE AIR AH.
