After today, I am a Willow fan. I am in love with the character and everything she said was so Jan. I'm convinced that it's my girl under that blonde hair!! The actress has improved since she first joined the show. If she is Jan, I think I'll enjoy it :) ...Plus I'll finally get to update my website lol.

Oh no...psychofan has joined the Willow tree!!!!!!! :o:o:o

I am going to run to the Willow Tree and sit my ass under it, count me in. She has told off Mimi and now Shawn's weak butt and was laughing my ass off where she told Shawn to deal with it in the previews.

I really like the idea of a pairing between Nick and Abby...(are they related? hopefully not their cute together)

Nick and Abby are cousins. Otherwise, I agree. They would be compatible together.

DaysFan, you beat me to it! While watching the episode, I was thinking the same thing. Willow has been acting very much like Jan use to. I also believe that Willow is Jan.

Pretty good show today. Not as exceptional as the last few but still really good.

Bo and Hope's scenes were nice. I like that he learned about the trip.

Abby and Nick were good. Nice to see Granpa Shawn (and some said Hogan doesn't use the vets). Roman was a little harsh to Nick. I loved Abby today. This may make her come clean to Max about her feelings so that is good. I liked that line that Nick had when he told Abby if he weren't her cousin.

Shawn/EJ was a really good scene. It seems like everyone is telling Shawn off this week and he is finally getting his act together so that is good.

Sami and Lucas were great. I like that they are finally doing something instead of the will they or won't they make love stuff. Looking forward to this trip.

I won't join the Willow tree and never will but for the first time since her first day she was interesting. That isn't saying much because she still annoyed the hell out of me (I also felt she overacted a bit at times). She was actually pretty good in the scenes at the end when she snapped and started the fire. That was her best acting IMO. I don't see what right she had to go off on Bo and Hope. Yes, Hope is a Shelle supported but she hardly knows Bo and Hope and she hardly knows Belle so I didn't really get her trash talking. What little she does know is based on what Shawn told her and alot of that was when he was mad at the world so that isn't exactly credible info there. I did like the scenes with Hope and Willow and the end scenes with the fire were good. I don't think she is done yet but she is close. I see the writing on the wall (sorry Willow fans). I can see her testifying against Shelle though.

If Willow turns out to be Jan, I will probably vomit. There is no need for Jan in any form even though I love Heather Lindell. It would be pointless and I don't see it happening even though she acted very much like Jan at the end.

Good show-tomarrow looks amazing.

It's okay Phoenix. You and I will not be confined to the Willow Tree. We'll be out in the field, knowing who the real entertaining characters are, and who actually knows how to act. ;)

Bree, stop clouding your love for Willow and Annie :) Join us, you know you want to

I may be liking Willow as of late, but the character of Jan and Heather Lindell put this girl to shame. I would trade Willow for Jan anyday of the week. Don't make me go to Home Depot and rent a chainsaw and put Willow Tree out of her misery.

I totally agree on the Jan and Willow parts!

Both EJ and Willow were the comic relief today. Willow was so outrageous in what she said to both Shawn and then Hope. It was hilarious. Hogan clearly isn't trying to make Willow rootable or quite frankly to give her more depth. I think she along with EJ and Nick are basically plot device characters to help redefine the characters that need fixing.

Over the summer, EJ helped redefine Sami's character and now his job is to help fix Lucas' character. You see it more in tomorrow's episode, but even today with the dialogue, EJ told Lucas to stop whining and grow up before he left Sami/Lucas to talk on their own. Then EJ went to Chez Rouge and that whole scene b/w EJ/Shawn was meant to help redefine Shawn's character. We really got a clue into HS' view of Shawn. HS doesn't like the fact that Shawn/Belle rely on their parents so much and he has characters like EJ, Willow and even Victor to some degree make that reliance on their parents an issue. Notice in the EJ/Shawn conversation, EJ says to Shawn "You need to grow up and take responsibility for yourself" and then the final couple of lines of the conversation, EJ tells Shawn that he's weak. I was just fascinated by the way that HS used EJ for both Lucas/Shawn in his scenes today.

Back to Willow. IMHO, HS has used Willow to tell us the audience where he would like to take Shawn. Willow keeps saying to Shawn "you like adventure etc." Even today when Shawn was breaking up with her, Willow told Shawn "You like to live on the edge. You like fast cars and women who are fierce and independent..." Then when Willow went to Bo/Hope's house and asked what Bo/Hope were going to do now that Shawn broke up with Willow, that scene was meant to redefine the parental relationship b/w Bo/Hope and Shawn. It's such an outrageous scene that people are going to remember it and he wanted the audience to remember it.

Finally, Nick was meant to work on Abby's character today. Usually his function is to work on Chelsea's character, but today it was Abby's turn. HS wants to make Abby courageous. First, we had that little scene with Nick being scared of the dark, when he first entered the garage. But Abby was fine. I think he wanted us to compare their 2 reactions to going into the garage. Abby acknowledges her fears and says that she's a coward in one of the last segments of the show. Nick replies after reassuring her that she will be a hero.

Even though there wasn't a lot of plot today, I think working on characterization was Hogie's main goal with this episode. I liked the show from that vantage point. As a Lucas fan, I really appreciate the fact that he's pointing out his weaknesses and hopefully addressing them in the coming weeks/months....

She probably knows about all the times Hope meddled in Shawn and Belle's lives to make them see their "feelings" for each other. Hope Brady is the biggest SHELLE pimp out there.

And I'm the second biggest. You go, Hope!

Seriously... very good show today. December has been like the month where the light switch turned on in Hogan's head and he got it. This is the Days I remember.
