the Willow Tree is impervious to chainsaws.

Not that I know what the hell impervious is, but maybe I should start a fire instead. All kidding aside I was lol when she was talking all kinds of shiznit to Hope.

LOVED EJ today, as usual. "Sit down!" Heh, Shaw is really getting lessons in manhood from EJ and Victor lately.

I agree.

EJ and Shawn were SO-FREAKING-HOT today. It would have only been hotter if, after telling Shawn to sit down, EJ unzipped his pants and told him to get underneath the table...

I just LOVE EJ ordering Shawn around like that. Shawn was SUCH his "b" today. And I had a GREAT time fantasizing about Shawn being EJ's "b."

Once again, BRAVO, Hogan Sheffer. These homoerotic scenes were priceless!! !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

I have to clarify my Willow remarks. While I agreed with some of what she said to Shawn and also to Hope, it was more the WAY she said it and her actions that make me label her a psycho. I feel bad for her in a way because I think she has had a horrible life and Shawn was probably the first guy who was ever really nice to her. But, she always knew, from their first conversation, that Shawn had a lot of complications in his life, including a baby girl. He never made her long-term promises, and she should have protected herself from expectations. The only reason Shawn has stayed with Willow this long is because of the way she was always controlling him, the same thing she accused Hope of doing. I do agree that Shawn needs to grow up and start being his own man--as was wonderfully illustrated by EJ during the scene at Chez Rouge. He has been manipulated by a lot of women--Jan, Hope, Kate, Mimi, Belle, Willow. Although I'm sure Shawn/Belle will be the end game, he should spend some time discovering who Shawn Brady really is. And learning to be a good father to Clare.

So although I partially understand Willow, I still hate her. And starting that fire was definitely overkill for the situation.

The thing I don't get about the Shawn/Willow 'coupling' or whatever you call it, is how Willow asked Shawn if all he wanted from her were freebies and he said "no." But THAT'S NOT TRUE. If there are 'no strings attached,' then, um, that's essentially the same thing as 'freebies.'

Shawn is an idiot. And a pig. He deserves everything he gets from Willow. He treated her like CRAP. He DID use her for sex. He didn't care about her AT ALL and just wanted her for her BODY. All I have to say to Willow is, BURN, BABY BURN! Teach that male SLUT a thing or two. (See, Pest Spray? Both men and women can be called sluts -- no double standard ;))

Bree, stop clouding your love for Willow and Annie :) Join us, you know you want to

Oh my GOD.

You actually have a willow tree in your banner, with the Willow Tree tagline.

I love it!! That's so cute~!!

Dang. That's really putting your money where your mouth is. Me, I haven't had the time yet to take down my old, old, OLD SON Big Brother signature.

Props!

Imagining Scott and Beemer go at it is a nice mental image JSF, your commentary cracks me up.

Tell me about it! I'm just glad that JER's not the only soap scribe who can pull off some good, old-fashioned homoerotic scenes. Though subtle, Shawn and EJ have "It." They just OOZE "It." The only question is, will they actually go there, or must we save EJ/Shawn romps for slash fiction?

It's okay Phoenix. You and I will not be confined to the Willow Tree. We'll be out in the field, knowing who the real entertaining characters are, and who actually knows how to act. ;)

Okay I saw the show today at last. And IMO all they did is make some sort of sense of Willow's extreme irritation factor and bizarre mannerisms. Why does Willow not act like normal poeple? Cuz she ain't normal, folks! Seeing as how JER has saturated me to the max with cornball loons I'm sticking to my "Willow needs to go" song.

Love trees. Hate Willow.

Finally, Nick was meant to work on Abby's character today. Usually his function is to work on Chelsea's character, but today it was Abby's turn. HS wants to make Abby courageous. First, we had that little scene with Nick being scared of the dark, when he first entered the garage. But Abby was fine. I think he wanted us to compare their 2 reactions to going into the garage. Abby acknowledges her fears and says that she's a coward in one of the last segments of the show. Nick replies after reassuring her that she will be a hero.

Interesting. To me it came off that Nick knew what to do when it counts, when he was confronted with Abby's emotions he knew to comfort her, even though he had these fears that could make him easy to laugh it. I agree that there was a lot of character building for both today.

Good show, I liked it.

I just found the clip of Willow barging into Bo and Hope's house!! I don't know I am having mixed feelings about the character, other than the fact WOW she is tall!! I saw her when she first started, the day Shawn was playing basketball and such. She hasn't been on that long and I don't like the whole "I LOVE YOU SON" angle, seems to rushed, then again she could be just crazy! LOL! So there you go on that end.

Telling off Hope was a big mistake I think, because if Shawn does find out...I think it will backfire on her!! Plus I am glad Hope stood up for Belle...I may have to start watching me some DAYS!

Plus...I am a fan of the guy playing NICK!!! He is a little cutie!! I think I've developed a soap crush!!!

You should. The show has been great and much-improved for months now, but December has really kicked into high huge gear. And it's going to stay that way, all the way up 'til the end by the spoilers I'm reading.

Bo and Hope have been so cute, and they seem so realistic. The way Peter and Kristian play the couple, it's as if you're watching a real life couple... I love them.

Patch and Kayla's reunion was explosive. The acting was amazing. Patch remembering, Kayla's disbelief... the scenes were the best scenes on Days all year, IMO. Emmy-award winning, if I ever saw it!

The Phillip story is fantastic, creepy... I really have no clue where they're going to go with it, and I'm RARELY able to say that. Lauren Koslow and John Aniston's scenes together have been a revelation. Max and Mimi's involvement is a nice touch, and I'm actually worried about them both... the scenes at the garage yesterday were suspenseful and kept me on the edge of my seat, wondering what was going to happen.

John and Marlena with Italy, the discovery of Stefano and the upcoming revelation of EJ's identity has all been suspenseful and fantastic. Can't wait to see Eileen Davidson's picture!

Shawn/Belle/Willow is great, now that Willow has gone all psycho-b!tch.

Then there's EJ. He, alone, is reason enough to watch. I love him!

The entire cast is stepping up to the plate with the acting. You can tell they're loving their material, because they're putting so much of themselves and so much effort into their scenes.

I just haven't seen this show in such a great, healthy place in years. I'm loving it.

If there are any viewers of ATWT watching DAYS now Willow sort of reminds me of Celia!! However, that said Willow is a little bit better version of Ce-Ce!

And the only thing with DAYS it is on opposite GL and I'm still sorta loyal to my show.

My fave exchange of the episode:

(Willow has barged in on Bo & Hope complaining Shawn dumped her)

BO: What do you expect us to do about this? Shawn's a grown man, we don't interfere in his personal life.

WILLOW: Give me a break, you're all over his personal life- that's why he moved with me into the Y in the first place!

 So true. I love me some Willow. She was great with Kristian Alfonso today- they had a nice rapport I thought.

And, WOW, from the looks of things, she is a tree!

 , I didn't realize how tall she was until her scenes with Hope.
