That's a great choice for DAYS, IMO. That episode was pure soap drama.

I'm glad they didn't pick one from the Zack story. It's ridiculously over-rated.

I wonder if ABC or CBS will air any classics, like they used to do? That used to be one of my favorite things about the holidays -- all the classic episodes that the networks used to air! I remember especially loving the GL classics a few years back. If I recall, they aired a Classic Christmas from 1997 (complete with my favorite GL psychos -- Wendy Moniz as Dinah and Cynthia Watros as Annie), and then on New Year's Day they aired Josh and Reva's BEAUTIFUL wedding at Cross Creek... best daytime wedding ever, I swear!

They stopped doing it a few years ago, it seems. And it really takes a huge chunk out of my enjoyment of the Christmas holiday, LoL.

I loved knowing that even when all the fun was over, I could still kick back with my tapes and watch hours upon hours of CLASSIC SOAP from years gone by.

Nowadays, they just air some halfwitted episode that just aired three months ago, if that. What a ripoff. Sons of bastards.

Over the weekend I saw a show on VH1 with the best of the best celeb mugshots. When I saw CW name under a mugshot I was saying to myself isn't that the name of the lady who beat out Eileen Davidson for best actress. Dos anyone know when CW got in trouble and what for?

I dont agree with any of these choices. On OLTL you are going to tell me John Mcbain making up his dam mind was a better episode then the excution of Todd. I dont like any of the choices at all. They all suck.

I can't believe they had the Todd execution episode & the Kevin & Kelly breakup show to choose from and they chose a John/Natalie episode. Me thinks Frons had something to do with this. Anything from May would have been better.

All the rest of the episodes are okay. I have to say I was hoping to see something from Zach's death for Days though.

Keep in mind that Frons is now in charge of Soapnet. Classic Christmas episodes usually involve warmth, sentimentality, family, history and hope -- not exactly things that seem to be in his vision for any soap. I doubt that they would be any more expensive. It just would remind people how far the ABC soaps have fallen.

Best eppy of 'O6 for OLTL? Please... I can't believe Todd's excution wasn't chosen.

Todd's execution or the plane crash with Todd and John are clearly the best episodes of the year. I would even conceed Margaret walking into the death chamber after Todd flatlines all beat John and Natalie any day of the week. John's best work came playing off Todd.

That's exactly the episode I was thinking they should have used. That or at least the episode where Lexie tells Bo and Hope that Zack as dead at the end. Either of those would have been my choice.
