The Days stuff sounds good though.

Glad that ABC is making changes in some capacity but consulting at this point just isn't enough. All the head writers need to be canned.

I don't know if you read the other thread yet about Jason's email, but I believe that YOU WERE RIGHT

and I WAS WRONG concerning Hogan and how much power he has.

There's this TV GUIDE article I found out about where he said NBC/CORDAY PROD. and he have had

"differences" regarding firings.

Man, I knew nothing about that and I'm sorry. I think you were right on the other thread.

I saw it EricaKane4Life and it's fine.

Sometimes there is things we just aren't aware of. I did something similar in a FF thread a week ago until someone pointed out something I didn't know about so it happens.

I really want to see if there are any comments from RJ in this issue about her exit as last week's issues only mentioned her firing.

On the run from the law and the mob, GH's unlikely duo of Jason and Lulu Morgan (Hee) find the object of their quest - computer whiz - Spinelli " Jason had to unfortunately take Lulu with him because she knows where Spinelli is" Says Steve " They find him at his grandmother's house, come back to PC and arrange to turn themselves in"

During the adventure, Lulu proves to be very much her mother's daughter , echoing her parents past perilous persuits ( Eeee did they just compare Julu to L&L??) But Luke and Laura fell in love on the lam, is that happening here lol ? " There are definetly worse people she could be on the run with" Chuckles Julie " However, w/ everything that happened to her over the summer, falling on love and having such a poor outcome, it's hard for her to have those kind of feelings and actually admit them Heeee. But she could easily have a crush on someone like Jason, he's definetly her type"

Sam may not have anything to worry on that front , but things get more dangerous as the trio heads home w/. Alc thugs in hot persuit and Ric manipulating the law to his advantage. " Sonny calls Ric to come over to the house so he's acting as a decoy to occupy Ric while they turn themselves into Lucky and Cruz. then the original flash drive is missing. Surprise Surprise. What ric did w/ it we don't know" Says steve.

However Spinelli proves his worth by showing the police exactly how he faked the flash drive in the first place, and their mission is accomplished. " the charges are dropped" says steve "Jason's free, Sam's free, he goes to get her at Alexis, he's says w're free, come home. She' says Oh I missed it here. he says move back in, she does, and the next question is Let's have a baby. and he's like what? So they have about 2 minutes of happiness before everything hits the fan again"

SOD - Why Y&R made changes

CBS VP Barbara Bloom admits to some institutional nervousness when Lynn Latham was hired in Feb to replace Kay Alden, by Sept she had also taken over Jack Smith’s EP job as well. Under Lynn Bloom says “ The show is more cohesive, characters aren’t as islanded as they were before. With each story there was a lot of conversation between Lynn, me and Bell Television and Sont – deliberate choices made to refocus on the core characters and what the audience was looking for…..For the form to continue it has to evolve"

I refuse to get excited about anything these days regarding DOOL, but it is weird that the show is calling to use her picture. Really, why are they showing a picture of Kristen now anyways.

I wonder if this is Paul who is on the way out. He hasn't had a real storyline in years and his character is definately an island. JT is new the private-dick in town so his profession is definately redundant and his character has no ties to the show anymore. Every character has their run and his is probably nearing its end.

SOD - Ice Storm hits on Y&R

Several characters are chilled this week on Y&R when an Ice Storm hits.

As the temp begins to drop, Neil and Dru turn up the heat - with each other! After hitting the sheets, the estranged Duo decides to recommitt to their marriage " Both of them are under a lot of stress because of the pending court case so they feel it's better to unite than devide. They realize they have to protect each other " Says Kristoff

They finally also talk about Carmen.

Once the storm hits, chaos ensues around town and some surprising couples end up stranded together. Sharon/Brad take cover in his home, colleen and Professor Korbel , and Lily and Daniel lose control of their car.

Meanwhile a black out occurs and Jack and Phyllis becomes trapped in an elevator at Newman where she goes into labor " She's freaking out" Says Michelle " The baby is in breech and all she wants is to get out of there. she thinks that Nick will save her and it will be fine. But they can't get ahold of Nick and the baby is coming. Phyllis is completely out of her mind"

Is Jack's presence making it worse ? " in the beginning it's worse" Says Michelle " Jack is flipping out, but he takes control. he has to deal with it! When 2 people are togetyher and they had a good relationship and then they don't anymore, if you get them together in a dire situation, it all goes away" says Michelle.

Stafford Praises " It's interesting how they set up the storm storyline, how the different characters end up together. In a way it's about people making Amends"

MBE - He spends the day basically trying to convince her all these great things. (remembering) She finally believes and they fall into a kiss. It's sweet. The Patch character has such a fun, lovable side, so it's nice for that to be around - and to have them comfortable

After making love (and a bubble bath) they discuss Billie.

MBE - they're cool scenes. Patch and Kayla feel so free to be able to talk about that. And Kayla knows their love is so strong that it's not a threat.

After the reunion, his memories start to haunt him more and they'll be front burner. Per Corday - Really great stuff to play.

Stefano's Alive

&M find out Stefano is alive but it's not Joe Mascolo playing him. Quotes from Joe about being willing to join the show. He's currently free but won't return for just a week.

Corday - Corday says Stefano's (Joe) return is not out of the question but it won't be happening before 2007. It's a meeting with J&M while he's on his deathbed.

Stefano on two days with oxygen mask.

Deidre Hall - Thinks they're doing the right think. They need to move the story on, recapture the audience and their loyalty.

They find out Stefano is alive and go to the hospital. Stefano beckons to M. He talks about the gentleness and vulnerability of young people while holding onto her hand. It's a death grip even though he's dying.

M spots a picture by his bed of a familiar face to fans - will provide huge clue to a Salem resident's family tree.

Shawn dumps Willow and goes back to Belle.

Martha Madison - Their focus is on Claire. Not being a couple. But she still loves him. She's also a little pissed because he didn't come running to her sooner for a family reunion. But also worried about him.

They have a heart to heart. Interrupted by Willow.

Willow tells Belle she's been living with Shawn. Belle's mad and goes to Bo/Hope's house. Shawn comes over and says she's right. He wants to work it out so they can be a family. He's done with Willow because he loves her.

Belle is touched and relieved.

Martha is very happy that fans now have something to invest in this is the couple to root for.

Corday doesn't think there's as much behind the scenes turmoil as there was with the last head writer who came in.

Not as difficult as the stalker story. The exits are all very subtle and not one on top of the other.

Corday - Lexie is leaving the show. Not being killed. Renee and Lexie are not on permanent leave. Not losing the Carvers. Story point and she will disappear. Pay for her badness for a while. Would like to see some Jim and Tanya scenes.

Deidre - Stunned about Renee.

Mary Beth on Rose - She'a a sweet girl. Gave her all and wishes her the best. Says contracts are funny. You think it means you're going to be there forever but it's just another job.

As I said in the other thread, it all sounds good and I am very happy Corday and Hogan are speaking about what has happened so far.

Love the ED stuff. That picture says alot about her chances of returning in my book .

I'm glad Corday said something, we needed to hear directly from him about these changes.

So Lexie is not being killed. I wonder if she will return later on down the line, as a bad girl once again. Would be nice to see. Soaps could use another good black villianess. The last real one for me was SuBe's Virginia Harrison.

I'm also relieved that Shawn throws Swillow to the curb, but at the same time, I want Shelle to get together very slowly. I'm loving Belle as an independent mom not whining that Shawn's not with her.
