No. The first two from 1980 were from the Pat Falken Smith era. Robert J. Shaw was the head writer for the third and fourth episodes (the wedding).

Actually, Thom Racina was the head writer at the time - along with his pal Leah Laiman. Thom was uncredited during this period; Robert J Shaw was a pal of Gloria Monty's, and would throw paper airplane's around the writers' office while Thom and Leah happily penned away! LOL.

Thom being uncredited had to do with the writers' strike from the summer. Gloria was panicking because Pat Falken Smith started the ice pricess story - with no outcome. Jackie Smith (head of ABC Daytime at the time) was friends with Thom; during this period, Thom, an author, wrote "The Great Los Angeles Blizzard" - a disaster story about snow/ice in LA. The basis of that story became the outline for the ice princess conclusion (Mikkos freezing the world) on GH. When this proved to be such a hit (the first sci-fi story in daytime), Gloria kept Thom on as head writer - uncredited.

It was Thom who created the Helena Cassadine character due to Elizabeth Taylor, a fan of the show, 'demanding' that Luke and Laura marry. Thom/Gloria jokingly told Elizabath that they would marry the Luke and Laura characters IF Liz agreed to make a cameo on the show. Thus, Helena was born!

Also, it was Thom's wonderful surprise-idea to get Kin Shriner back secretly and have Scotty catch the bouquet! :)

But the hour of flashbacks and interviews was excellent. I got a little teary at the end! It was cute. I hope GH/L&L fans found SOME happiness out of this lastest Sweeps stunt. I think Genie will return full time soon.

I hope that she does. I think that TPTB at GH would be total morons if they didn't bring her back full-time.

I know that this was all for sweeps, but I think GH got it right this time...well, almost. I think that the sweeps part was amazing, but what comes after isn't going to hold the momentum at all. When GH returns to its crappy self on Monday (which we all know it's going to do), the viewers are going to start tuning out. If anything proves it, it's that they still had to have a dumb mob shoot-out/killing during sweeps anyway. I guess some things will never change.

what happend to heather webber?

What do you mean after Heather drank the LSD cup that she meant for (Anne or Dianne.... I can't remember which one of the two women she was trying to poison)?
