#1 - Victor tells Phillip he has a plan to help him (Phil) get Claire back.

#2 - Enter Willow.

#3 - Victor hired Willow?

Thoughts?

Hope would go off..... And Shawn would be a little upset too.

Right Rion, and DAYS was gold when JER wrote the show? Come on dude, if you can't be objective then you shouldn't say that the show should be cancelled. The show has it's faults but it's in much better shape than it was a year ago.

Ugh. You don't know WHAT you're talking about! DAYS SUCKS! PSNS is awesome right now. ITA DAYS should be cancelled. PSNS should NBC's SOLE soap opera.

Okay, I don't want to get into a Passions vs Days debate here. But, I can never agree that Passions is better than Days ... right now, at least! Passions is ridiculously s l o w. To the point, that I could just fall asleep for a month and wake up and still know what's going on

Oh it did-I would never think it didn't

Seriously Rion, you may not like Days but a little objectivity can go a long way.

After having time to think about this mroe, I have come up with a few more idea.

Philip could be in a win/win situation. He could have Belle and Claire, or he could toss Belle to the side and fight for Claire.

I have read other posters state that Hogan likes twists. Well what a twist would this be, many thing she works for the DiMera's. But what if it is Victor after all, and this is bringing back the Victor that use to be, instead of the man he has been changed into.

I don't know, I think it is a neat idea and a shocking twist, I would like it to be Victor that is behind it.

Something else, there was the whole Grandpa Shawn thing in common as well as the pendent that Willow had to the one that OMB gave to Stephanie on the day of the race. So automatically the theory jumps to DiMera. Why not Victor, he is in a situation that he would know all the same info about the Bradys. (maybe not that Stephanie would get the same pendent). Just food for thought.

Ooh! Ooh! Ooh! I want Victor to threaten her and call her "my dear".

Did you not read last week's episodes, Keith of As Days Go By? Victor told Willow to name her price, knowing she was a hooker. I had to add in a little humor and have gossiping Mimi spill the bean to Shawn.

And King, what makes you think Shawn HAS to be with Belle or Mimi? That's the one thing I hate about DAYS and it's fanbase. The fans think about couples and that's it. It's more about characters, or at least it should be. After all that's happened, Shawn is never supposed to be with either Belle or Mimi in my eyes. It's time for him to move on. I'm hoping Hogan has big plans for SHALLOW since Annie Burgstede was just placed on contract :D GO WILLOW!

If that's the case here's my theory on why they gave her a contract. Say if she is working for Victor, then (whether she was or not) she and Shawn would be destined to break up (as if they aren't already). Her true colors would soon start to come out as this [!@#$%^&*]y social climbing young woman, who would probably love to get her hooks in Phillip. If Victor refused to pay her whatever she wanted for hooking up with Shawn, hooking her claws in Phillip would be the perfect revenge. Just another theory.

This would create more story potential for the character IMO and explain why the portrayer got a contract.

Because at this point, Victor can probably only see him with either so he's not going to bring Willow on to keep Shawn away from some woman he hasn't met yet. He's going to want her to keep Shawn away from his two loves so he can't build a stable life. Also, there is a vested interest there with Belle because Phillip is in love with her.

I don't know if I believe it. To me, I don't think Victor would care about Shawn's love life. Philip is his main concern.

Right. And getting Phillip custody of Claire.

Okay, I see where you're coming from King. Victor hires Willow to keep Shawn away from "respectable" women like Belle and Mimi. Then, once Philip's health gets better, Philip can sue for custody and win because Belle is a single mother and Shawn is an unfit father.

By the way, Shawn has no chance in hell of ever winning custody of any child. Joe Schmo could come into the court room, sue for custody against Shawn and win.
