According to the latest SOD, though the show will not confirm, Spencer Grammer's Lucy will be exiting the show by the end of this year.

Not too saddened by this news. I've tried to like her as Lucy, but she just doesn't work for me.

I liked her as Lucy!! I however did not her version of Lucy with Dusty..I think they should have worked to pair her with someone else.

The actress was totally miscast as a doctor and I never bought Dusty-Lucy as a couple in the first place, and it was even worse this go round.

My prayer anwsered. She was awful and it was only a matter of time. I saw this day coming a mile away. I'm so sick of Lusty and now it will be a thing of the past.

I kind of liked her. She's wasn't amazingly good, but she was quite good and getting better daily.

I'm sad to hear she's out.

So much Lucy hate floating around here, I knew she wasn't popular...but wow I never knew there was this much!!! LOL!!! I think they will recast, Lucy seems to busy in Oakdale these days and with Craig back....what do you guys think...and who would they get to play the role, I'm sure it would be another newbie....however though since they did age the character I wouldn't mind seeing Alexis Thopre (Ex-Cassie, DAYS) join the show.

I wouldn't mind Alexis Thorpe. In that same age group, and my top choice would be luring Erin Torpey back to daytime. She would be great as Lucy. After her I would love Bethany Joy Lenz who played cloned Reva. I think she would be good as Lucy too. Another great choice would be Rachel Miner. She could really play Lucy as vulnerable and tough too esp. in the scenes with Craig.

Also some lesser known vets that might be okay are: Laura Bell Bundy or Aubrey Dollar (maybe).

Thank goodness! I got tired of Lucy being shoved down my throat and I hated Dusty being ruined to prop her and the Lustless pairing.

I wish Spencer all the best, and hopefully she'll grow as an actress someday

I never expected them to fire her, she is AWFUL! Now just keep Lucy away. Dusty is so much better with Meg, Emily or Barbara. Sierra isn't around so we don't need Lucy.

First off, I'm not going to slam Spencer Grammer for taking on a difficult role. I didn't like her version of Lucy. She just didn't do a very believable job in the role, however, I wish her all the best in whatever else life my bring to her.
