'Bout damn time.

I bet Kevin Federline will get his 15 minutes of fame (maybe a reality show contestant), and then end up on some VH1 special down the road.

Now Katie needs to leave Tom. As Whitney is leaving Bobby. And these once strong women can return to their former glory.

Count me in as one of the Britney-aholics here at SON!!

I got her CD, played the enhanced CD feature, freeze framed about 100 shots of her, and stuck them all over my locker. I would get all the teen magazines that she was in, cut all the pictures and articles out and post them over my bed.

 I was so sad back then.

But I have continued to be a Britney supporter through all these years!! And I am so fuggin excited with this news!! My day just gets better and better!!

And I know this may sound goofy, but a friend of mine and I are actually celebrating their divorce tonight with some pizza and the new epi. of Nip/Tuck :P

Dude, we were just talking about wanting Britney to divorce Kevin two weeks ago.....and now it has happened!!

Our dreams have come true!! LOL!!! :)

I knew the reports were true that she was going to get a divorce before she found out she was pregnant again.

It was 9th grade for me. LOL

Word. She's still a Goddess to me.

Same here!!

I hope this is the beginning of Britney's comeback. I miss the old Britney......the pre-KFED, Britney.

This news is so awesome for us Britney fans.

WOOHOO!!! :)

    • I assume in name only?  One Stormy Night wasn't exactly steamy.  If it's a literal throwback then Stephanie's writing about sexy times her own Uncle was having lol. Since I am going to surmise it's just a throwback to the name, Night Sins and Winter Heat both sound sexier.  Just saying.  I swear Jamey (and Ron) just google things and land on the first thing they like and decide it's a good throwback to history without watching it.
    • I usually don't want Tide placement in the middle of an intense sad scene, but this is an interesting point

    • Thanks!   Was anyone watching during this time? Wondering how Peggy’s rape played out onscreen. It just seems cruel to subject the Brooks family to this trauma a 2nd time.   Feels like the writers have already given up on the character of Jennifer, even though she sticks around another year-plus. She should be a passionate and fierce protective mother, but instead she seems just reactionary (and not even mentioned in this recap) This was also the case in ‘73 when Chris was raped. The writers are definitely more invested Stuart as the Brooks parent.
    • BTG got another SNL reference at 00:50  CONTEXT (so it isn't misconstrued) in this joke swap segment, Michael Che frequently makes his white cohost Colin Jost read racist jokes written by Che.

    • It's obvious that Israel's presence is a major divisive issue, and this is something that the EBU needs to deal with. According to the now published results Israel got 13 out of a possible 19 max points in the semi-final, and while their song isn't bad there's no way they would get those numbers without some kind of manipulation/political voting. They are clearly using this contest as a way of improving their somewhat tarnished reputation. I know that some people are comparing this to the massive sympathy votes that Ukraine gets and which propelled them to victory in 2022, but I feel that that was a more genuine show of support than this concerted effort from Israel to influence the televoting. I even had an ad on Youtube from Israel in Swedish(!) asking for votes! It might not be against any rules, but it feels a bit icky nonetheless.
    • Yeah, as you wrote, an Israeli win would have been a political disaster. Congratulations to Austria. 0 points from the televoting to Switzerland was a disgrace. Other than that, I really enjoyed the show ... but I'm also glad that Eurovision season is over

    • Hahaha Sorry if I was too negative, I just started typing and typing once I got going hahaha
    • @dc11786 Thanks for taking time to answer my various questions, along with giving your thoughts on the different writing teams. I wonder why they didn't just have Ryder and TR leave together if Jane was going anyway. The discussions over the last few pages have made me more interested in watching these episodes than I have been over the years - without the extra details and analyses provided, these years can be difficult to decipher (not helped by how often Jo seems like a side character).
