I wonder why ABC's ratings on Monday & Tuesday spiked so high...???

I think at least the GH ratings might be the fact that alot of people might have thought that Laura was coming back last week, but I can't be sure. As for the other ones it does not make any sence to me at all.

Looks like ABC's gimmicks are going to work again and Laura hadn't even returned yet. I refuse to tune into any ABC soaps until things are changed. I wish people weren't so easy to jump on sweeps stunts because that is what makes ABC keep doing them.

Well, given that GH had a .6 spread, a 2.9 to a 2.3, they aren't keeping viewers. All three had higher Mondays and Tuesdays, but went down for the rest of the week. OLTL and AMC had 2.2s. Laura's return isn't going to automatically ensure a 3.0 for every day through November, and GH's rise may only have a small impact on AMC/OLTL.

Yay! for ATWT! Glad to see them at #3. Surprised at B&B's numbers. Didn't Taylor confess to killing Darla last week? I am also surprised at GH's numbers for Monday and Tuesday. What happened to make them so high?

While I'm not a fan of AMC's Zendall, it looks like everyone who likes them together tuned in to raise the ratings for Tuesday's show.

I just hope an occasional slight ratings rise won't mean McT can keep her job. AMC and OLTL deserve to be below GL, imo!

Arghh..GL was sooo close to beating Days, OLTL, and AMC! The show deserved better ratings for last week than what they got.

DAYS won't get the type of ratings fans want until they do a big event. The stories are still in a transition period, IMO. I'm going to wait until November or even February sweeps when Hogan can officially wipe out JER's stories and launch his own. He was known for his big stunts on ATWT, so we just need to wait!

VERY impressed with Y&R's ratings, they have really deserved it. The faster pace is probably what brings the viewers in. Hopefully they stick around. It's also nice to see B&B rise so much, but they don't deserve it! I guess we can give up any hope that they'd fix the show. Same for GH. After these sweeps we will never lose Guza! I refuse to watch Laura's return. I'm watching todays episode right now and I'm going to cut it off.

Well I'm glad that B&B went up, lol. I think it has gotten a little better, especially last week with the trial stuff going on. I'd be surprised if this week gets as high though. (Although I have been enjoying the Stephanie and Jackie fued).

I know. And it is weird that the 2 best days got the 2.2 rating. I felt both Wednesday and Friday had the best acting of the week.

If AMC & OLTL continue doing poorly, we just might see GL overtake them for next week's shows when Reva's cancer is revealed to Josh. There's even a cover of them on this week's SOW. A miracle!

Glad to see the Zendall reunion day on AMC got the highest rated day of that week, and it's the first 2.6 in awhile as well

WOW about Days

Days is in transition. I think there are still a lot of people who don't trust it and just kind of wonder in and out.

I really am liking Days now. I'd like to see more of Steve and Kayla, and I think Sheffer has plans for them. The show is very good even without them getting the time they deserve.

You know I really wish Billy Warlock was staying. They could have hooked him up with Billie. It would have been fun to see a romance begin between them. He even has chemistry with Samatha! There are any number of story angles for him.

Come on Hogan, bring him back. LOL.

The ratings were beyond odd this week. The ABC and CBS soaps were all over the place number wise, but NBC declined, which sucks because DAYS and PASSIONS have really been good lately. They are doing well in the demos (so happy PASSIONS was .1 away from DAYS in the 18-34 demo) but overall they dropped. I really don't understand why. Hopefully the weeks to come will show the recently improved quality of both shows in the ratings.

There's no doubt that GL's ratings will rise next week. Viewers have been waiting for the revelation for months. GL may very well overtake the ABC soaps - even GH, which has Genie Francis on tap. Keeping my fingers crossed!
