My favorite incarnation is Hatcher/Cain, then TomErica, then followed by the rest LOL

Cheap we've been agreeing alot lately LOL. I think this is the last season. I think Tom would have signed by now for the 9th season, cause what else would be stopping him?

I also fear if there's a 9th season, KK/Lana will be back and we'll get more of the same assfuckery we got with Requiem

Lois Lane wins at life. I'm so happy she's back.

Seriously, I freakin' LOVED this episode.

Complete with ending angst of Clark watching Lois waiting for him at the coffee shop, and not fully accepting yet that he can have the superhero life and a normal life together.

And nice touch having Clark pick Lois up on time after he used the Legion ring.

Davis is freeeeaaaakkkkyyyy. That scene where he told Chloe who he was and told her to run was pretty chilling.

And was that Clark talking to his MOTHER on the phone? YAY for the Martha shoutout!

So, there was continuity back to season 4 (Blank - I guess I should stop calling you Smallville) and season 6 (Sneeze - barn door / what'd you do, sneeze?). Not to mention season 7 (Siren - a reference to Lois' reasoning for breaking up with Ollie, and that it wouldn't apply to Clark because he was different).

The little kid in Clark's outfit was adorable!

The last episode was okay. Wasn't a big fan of the whole "the truth is out" but we're going to travel back in time.

That was the best scene in the episode. The rain, the music ("Dreamer" by Uh Huh Her), the watching from a distance......perfect!

So, Turbulence had some really good moments. Ashmore was outstanding and I felt really bad for Jimmy.

Very Clark lite ep, but that's because Tom was slated to direct Hex, though that ended up getting changed because he got sick.

I LOVED seeing Clark so happy and proud of himself for saving people and embracing his abilities and what he can do as providing as symbol of hope.

The phone booth change? Awesome!

Chloe's flip-flopping from ep to ep is getting annoying. Seriously last week she was all "Secret identity YAY! Tell Lois! WOOT!" and this week it's "Quit the Planet and stop being the Blur!"

Really?

I loved Hex. I thought Erica was fantastic and Tom was absolutely hilarious as 'mild-mannered' Clark. Zatanna was a lot of fun and she has good chem with JH's Ollie.

Bryan Q. Miller is the man. Seriously, the continuity shout-outs alone were a highlight for me.

And the brilliant way that last Clark/Lois scene mirrored that last Clark/Lois scene in Odyssey was so well done.

"Miss Lane"

"Can you read my mind?"

That last scene was ridiculously awesome....so many shoutouts! Welling and Durance were both terrific in that scene.

What I loved was the fact that the show had Lois fascinated by the RBB but they made CLARK her hero when he launched himself, weakend by kryptonite, in front of the bullet meant for her.

Allison Mack was great, that scene with Chloe by the dumpster was well done.

The Lois/Jimmy scene was hilarity.

    • This better be something, because as I said, so far it's just cliches and stereotypes -- the story we've heard a thousand times about the homeless person who doesn't want a home and prefers to live on the streets.
    • @rsclassicfanforever thank you very much for the recent uploads of season 13 containing some episodes that were skipped or glitchy on YouTube!  I had a look at 3172 though and there is no audio for most of it? Would you have a copy with complete audio? Fingers crossed! Thanks again!

    • I like Margaret well enough in what I've seen of her as Paige - she is green but she has real star power.  I agree about the actor who plays Brian. He's...mostly just there. Not bad but not great.  My main issue is with the guy who plays Owen. He's just not appealing to me. I can believe Nola being obsessed with him, but he's draining to watch.  I'm surprised people objected to the quasi-incest elements as it wasn't anything that new for soaps.  Speaking of Kim, here's a rare episode of an anthology show she did called The Evil Touch.

    •   I get what you're both saying, and I think the show was lucky to have even made it that long, but I think they could have still maintained a certain audience - Second Chances did before the earthquake. CBS was an older network anyway. I think the premise of Knots was still usable, it was more the characters who were a problem - many of the older figures were played out. If the show had done a better job building up its younger cast instead of making so many poor choices in the late '80s and early '90s, they could have kept things going a little longer.
    • I wish I cared about the homeless lady as much as everyone else seems to. After the nothing burger that was the lawsuit, this just feels like another boring Naomi storyline at Orphy Genes since she has no office.
    • That's great to hear. Thanks. I wish that was more readily available.
    • Just learned that Clifton Davis wrote this song!  I had no idea.

    • I think even if Marland had wanted to write more for Sara/Adam, his hands would have been tied as Robert Milli was one of the actors dumped by P&G due to his age.  From the bits and pieces I've seen of that period, Sara does have a key role in the Carrie plot, and Marland briefly gave her son Tim a more important part. I'm not sure if they just gave up on Tim once Kevin Bacon left or if they never really cared. I did not even know for many years that there was an actor in the part after Kevin...and then not one, but two. The Spauldingfield video on Tim doesn't even show the last actor (Nigel Reed), which kind of says it all. Anyway, I do get the sense Marland has some use for Sara, or for Millette. It's only after he goes that she is dumped. Of course he didn't ever hire her for his other shows, so maybe I'm wrong. (then again he never hired Geraldine Court either and he seemed very fond of her) Ann is an odd character to me as she is a proto-Lillian in being defined by pining for a Bauer brother and being involved in the death of one of their wives. I do wonder what else they could have done with her. She was friends with Diane, wasn't she? They could have had Diane manipulate her against Mike, I suppose.
    • Yassss....come on Maurice and Brandon...give us nothing!!! Wow, their need to develop their craft shone like a blinding light this episode. Brandon in his Martin and Smitty scenes sounded like he was reading and the facial expressions were giving Disney Channel. He did much better against Maurice in the Martin v Ted scenes. Now, Teddd-dyy (Dana's voice) was just flat. I watched the episode just now after reading the comment on here that Maurice needs to stop swaying, and now I can't unsee it. Has it really been this bad all along?  Ambyr carries. I don't need to say anymore. I am kind of excited to see this Kat/Tomas/Eva stuff play out.  Bill is such a dick to Dani. Like that's the mother of your children that you cheated on with your daughter's best friend but you look to take those low blows. Lord! When he said that thing about it being obvious he didn't care about Dani anymore since he was the one that walked out...that was cold. I even felt for Dani. Bill definitely is all over the spectrum. You can see a villain possibly surfacing, but you also see this great father. The elder Duprees move a little funny. I'm wondering what that is all about. Are they just overly protective matriarch and patriarch because they think it's what's best for their family, or are they afraid their secrets will come out or there's something more sinister there. Why would Vernon want to keep that information from Martin?  I hope something interesting comes out of this June stuff, but as of right now, I'm not too invested. It's not helping my interest on Naomi or Jacob either. However, tge actress playing Naomi has comes a long way from day one.
