The CM fans are in a huge uproar over this decision too. I mean HUGE! There's a petition (at over 33,000 folks now) and Nina Tassler may have to move to another country by the time they get done with her. LOL..

I can't say I blame them. Strong female role models are hard to find on TV anytime of day or night, so for CBS to take 2 of them off this show at once is plain stupid. Add to that the spin off and the fact that the same network that can't pay these two CAN pay domestic abuser Charlie Sheen $2 million bucks...it smacks of cheap sexism.

I near Garica will be getting a bigger role plus doing the spinoff but i still think this will hurt the show really bad.

Prentiss only being on now and agian will hurt them story wise than A.J but hardcore fans love her and whne y P.O hardcore fans your in TROUBLE!

BTW all the show are losing female cast members in order to pay Charile "FREAKING" Sheen 2 mill an episode!

Prentiss. :( I'm glad she didn't really die (which I totally fell for it when JJ told everyone, but when knew it was faked when JJ and that moment with Hotch). Was happy to see my beautiful AJ Cook again though. CBS was so stupid to get rid of her and Paget.

They cut her episodes back. I guess they had actually asked her to stay through the rest of the season's episodes but she decided to try her hand at pilot season. She did book a pilot. Someone pointed out that Ashley is a combination of Emily and JJ, and they can pay her way less than the other two.

Has anyone been able to get into the spinoff yet?

    • I do agree that a revival of EON would work, if it doesn't fall into doing all of the typical soap opera tropes... which it became guilty of in the final few years of the show with the over abundance of Raven/Sky at the expense of the actual detectives, police, etc. And I know it was mentioned earlier that Raven had lost any true connections on the show with the death of her on screen mother, and the loss of April/Draper/Deborah.. and I do agree with that. I actually thought the show would have done something with the Shelley character that could have connected her to the Raven character.  There were a few scenes where the two would have scenes and size one another up before they would go their separate ways.. so I assumed perhaps they would have been revealed as half-siblings and/or perhaps cousins.  Alas.. not to be.
    • It definitely flowed beautifully. So much that I was annoyed when Vanessa/Doug because I wanted to get back to the party. I know it was intentional to build up tension and suspense. It worked. lol. I'm glad it was there in hingsight because it gave us that great conversation between Doug and Vanessa. Foreshadowing? And yesss!!! This episode was sooo old school soap giving beat after beat after beat leading up to the unveiling of Eva as Ted's daughter. And we still have plenty of fallout/aftereffects to work through.   Speaking of...Bill, Bill, Bill lol. Good to have confirmation HE was the scary lawyer.   I'm sure I will have a busy Monday, but I can't wait for it. I don't know what I'm looking forward to more. Probably Anita vs Silk Press Sheila tbh. And yes, I feel they will be matching each other 'blow for blow.'
    • And if they go there, it could also be tied to Johnny completely cutting him off, possibly going to work for Titan, etc.
    • @AbcNbc247 maybe it is just that they've gone to that well too often, and I don't like when DAYS goes dark, but I'm OK with EJ abusing drugs, and just skipping the whole sobriety part. Side note: experiencing hallucinations of my son killing me would be enough for me to never want to take a pill again.

    • Part of the reason that Courtney worked at OLTL was because the show had an actual character for her to play.  One that was somewhat different than her character on AW, and after the way she was treated over at AW.. it had to have been nice to be courted onto a new soap that actually valued your contributions.
