ROZ!!!! :) I love Peri - I hope she comes back for more episodes....

Anyway - Yeah - I'm just not into the Gabby/Lang storyline at all.

I love seeing more Edie - but this fling with Carlos is boring.

I'm liking Rick - but now I'm hating Tom bc he's being so difficult in that bed. I don't like hating Tom.

Another good show! Love Edie & Carlos, Love Susan's confusion over Mike & Ian. Loving Jason Gedrick as Rick and kinda hoping for a split between Lynette & Tom, since they have lately been boring. At first I didn't like Gabrielle with Victor, but I'm warming to them after tonight's show.

Well, I thought the Susan/Mike/Ian "Pick one!" cake thing was probably the best sight gag and scene of the whole television season -- for any show. I didn't see it coming, and it was brilliantly written! And a little scandalous, what with Susan's implied comparison of wedding cake choices to the taste of Mike's and Ian's penises.

Kind of boring, but overall, a good episode.

I miss Marcia Cross!

I really like the addition of Jason Gedrick as Rick. Good casting choice. Can you believe the man is 41?

I love Doug Savant but I hate how they write Tom. He's so boorish. It's annoying.

I'm not crazy about Victor or Gabby together but I did warm up to them tonight.

Carlos and Edie were good but why is it all about sex with them? I also loved the gay realtor catching them together and the name calling. Pointless but funny anyway.

I love Mrs. McCluskey but the dead body thing is getting so old. I hope they don't plan to write her out :(

I do like Dougray Scott and Ian but he and Susan are so boring together. I hated how Mike came across tonight. After so long of being a jerk to Susan he expects her to just come running back to him now that he remembers? He must of gotten whacked by that car a lot harder than we thought! Loved Susan dumping both of them although we know it won't last.

Time for Lynette to leave that selfish loser. Girl, nobody will blame you. Seriously. She's been pulling the weight in that family for years.

Yet another dead body?!?!?!?! ZZZZZZZZZZZZZZZ.....

Susan/Mike/Ian is endless. Terminate it. Quickly. Now. ASAP.

Good freakin lord at all this negativity!!!

I don't understand it. What in the WORLD is wrong with Desperate Housewives? There is literally NOTHING on the show that I don't love.

As usual, a great show last night. Susan was the highlight for me. Terri Hatcher did a great job in those scenes-- especially the ones where she was telling Ian and Mike to hit the road.

Carlos/Edie are the perfect couple :)

I'm rooting for a Lynnette/Rick pairing...screw Tom!

I officially love Victor and Gabby together :) :)

I just can't get ENOUGH of Desperate Housewives!!!

Here's my review of last night's episode from my blog (shameless promotion, I know):

Desperate Housewives: 4/22/2007

About last night's episode of Desperate Housewives, where to begin?

The blackout idea could have been a great premise for the episode. That is, if it had lasted longer than just the first ten minutes.

I'll be honest, there wasn't much about last night's episode that I liked. I hate, hate, hate Gaby with politician guy. At least next week she finds out about Edie and Carlos, which should be interesting. Although, I'm not holding my breath. Speaking of Edie and Carlos...oh, I don't even have anything to say about them. It was the same old song and dance for those two. Lynette's making cow eyes at the restaurant's new chef while Tom sits at home sulking. Again, I find myself unable to find anything to say about this, positive or negative. Susan decided that she couldn't choose just one man, so, in predictable fashion, she chose herself. At least that idiocy is over with...for now. I just bet by the end of the season, Ian will be some psycho obsessing over Susan at which point Mike will have to rescue her. I'm calling that one now. Mrs. McCluskey's in jail now, but the one thing that actually interested me in this plot twist, seeing all the other residents' reaction to McCluskey keeping a corpse in her freezer, didn't happen. I was not pleased.

Lately, Desperate Housewives has been really boring and predictable. Up until the last few episodes the show had been on fire, but now it looks like the show has lost all that momentum. Aside from Edie/Gaby, next week doesn't even look that great.

I've said it before, and I'll say it again now. Marcia Cross...come back!

    • Randy (Doug's friend who works for Joey) -- Joey told Randy weeks ago that Joey's plan was to get Doug into so much debt that Doug would be forced to get Vanessa's real estate holding turned over to Joey, to use for money-laundering.  That's been the plan all along, which the viewers knew.  The only thing new is that Joey finally told Doug this. I think Joey is written badly.  I also think Jon Lindstrom is doing "Now I am going to act menacing".   But I don't really feel the menace.  It's too overdramatic and it doesn't feel like a real person.  Jon is a fine actor on GH, so I don't know what's happening here -- the entire BTG mobster premise is badly designed/written.  I don't know if Guza pushed for a mobster storyline?  Or did Jon?  (Jon wrote a novel about Hollywood mobsters). It just doesn't fit.  It feels (to me) like this storyline for Jon was just shoved onto the canvas but it doesn't fit all all. Monday's scene of Mona coming into the "casino" to check up on where Leslie supposedly lost money in the slot machines -- and Randy explaining to Mona that there are no slot machines, there is nothing but the card room.  I had to laugh because they had characters comment that it's just a card room and not a casino -- the show is now acknowledging that there's nothing there.  If they are going to do this, then have it make sense for Fairmont Crest residents to visit a high-end glamourous casino, and not a random room with one table. So what money is Joey laundering? A while back, Joey told Vanessa that he knows about her sexual philandering because owns the escort service that she'd been using. But I don't care...  I'd just prefer that the entire mobster storyline go away.
    • I caught up this past weekend. The show is better written, but I have been bored with the show. I did notice it ranked in the top 5 again this week, so that's a good sign.
    • I can't take this show seriously. I truly miss WJB writing this show. Bradley didn't inherit his dad's talent.
    • Maybe if there had been a good close up or two
    • I haven't had a chance to view the interview, but I'm glad Mike didn't get the part of Derek.  Derek is a badly written character. Any Ben Gavin screenshot from yesterday's show?
    • Wait, what? So, Martin’s not running for President anymore? Just like that?  I didn’t expect this storyline to be long term but I would’ve liked to see it play out for a little while longer, or at least until Martin’s secret was revealed. And definitely not fade out with a whimper. Sort of like Naomi’s lawsuit against Bill’s firm; what was the point of it all if it was just gonna wrapped up so easily and (probably) forgotten about?  Eva is still the breakout character though. I’m looking forward to seeing where she goes from here with everyone, especially if the twist that we’re all suspecting turns out to be true.  And I did find the gambling storyline interesting finally, now that we know Joey’s endgame. I’d like to see it play out and to see what happens to everybody involved in it.  As for Derek/Ashley… I wonder how it would’ve played out if they actually had cast Mike Manning as Derek. Yeah, the writing isn’t there but I imagine that Derek would have more of a personality lol and I also imagine that it would’ve made Ron Carlivati’s head explode

    • That would've been a good pick! She was great on B&B and like you said, she's already in Atlanta.

    • Oooo. I like the current actress, but that's a pretty great choice.
