Wow I had not heard this. He has always been a favorite of mine. He just never made it as big as he should have. Definitely didn't live as long as his dad.

I didn't realize he was married to Kate Woodville. For the Trekkies out there, she was Natira, the priestess of Yonada that McCoy married in "For The World Is Hollow and I Have Touched the Sky."
