I don't see why their ages should play such a factor here. Renee does look young for her age, but you know what they say, black don't crack.

Anyway, if the show would actually delve into why Lexie feels the need to cheat, really explore the problems in she and Abe's marriage, instead of fighting for a while and then getting back together, it could be some good drama.

I find it interesting that Lexie is the only DiMera child to turn bad, but then become good again. We have enough bad girls on this show with Sami, Kate, Chelsea, and to some extent, Mimi and Bonnie. While Lexie shouldn't become totally evil, it would be nice to see her !@#$%^&*]y side come out. Maybe she could go psycho, but slowly recover.

Whatever the writers do, as long as they get another good story, I'm all for it.

Frankly, I think the only reason Abe and Lexie were never allowed to fully cut ties is because they're the only two staple black characters on the show. It's a shame because they have no chemistry whatsoever. IA that Abe looks like her father and I cringe everytime they try to do romantic scenes.

I loved the chemistry she had with Brandon. He brought out her sexiness and she looked infinitely younger than her character portrayed with Abe. She was vibrant, fiesty and passionate, and they both looked fresh. I loathed that they made Theo Abe's. After the baby switch there was absolutely no plausible reason for them to get back together. I find Abe to be a bore and a hypocritical, judgemental one at that, but James is a phenomenal actor. Get Lexie away from Abe and I'll be happy. I hope Hogan does love them...away from each other.
