OLTL: Did Paige REALLY kill John's Father?

With all the new information coming out about the death of Thomas McBain, I wonder if Paige was really involved at all. David thought that he shot Thomas McBain only to find out that his brother has been lying to him all these years. Is it possible that Spencer has also been lying to Paige.

Paige was SO drunk the night that Thomas McBain died, she didn't even know his name and it seems she really doesn't remember what she did in the operating room. It's possible that Spencer TOLD her she did it and she believed him.

Then there is the doctor that took the fall - Dr Snyder. For the longest time I've wondered why he would take the fall for something he didn't do. I think we finally got the answer last week. Last week, Antonio made contact with a man who delivered tapes for Norman Leeds. One of the men he delivered to was Dr Snyder. Coincidence? I don't think so. I believe that Spencer found out about Snyder's tapes and blackmailed him. I think Spencer is the one that botched the surgery (probably on purpose), blackmailed Snyder to take the fall, and somehow convinced Paige that she was the one responsible.

What do you think?

I've been saying all along that Paige was set up by Spencer. Spencer killed Thomas McBain for a reason. Spencer blackmailed Dr. Snyder because his sick love of little girls, it looks like. He likely drugged Paige, making her "drunker" than she really was. She may have not even performed the surgery.

I'm sorry, but how can anyone take anything about this show seriously?

I mean, truly, total joke.

Spencer shot John's father.

And Paige will be redeemed.

It was not her fault.

What I want to know is WHY we are supposed to CARE? I don't care enough about Paige to worry that she fretted over having killed someone that we've only seen as a ghost, and not a particularly funny or interesting one. I care more that she delayed telling anyone about Margaret until the last minute, and that hardly makes me like her. THe only thing about the character that elicits any strong emotion at all is that she has been shoved at us at the expense of Nora -- not exactly a point in her favor.

Exactly. I didn't care that David shot Mcdemon. I like David and I don't like McPain. I don't care that Spencer killed Mcdemon. I don't care that Paige did or didn't botch the surgery. The only one involved in this story that I ever cared about was David. The fact that Paige wasn't to blame doesn't address my issues with the character. Those issues are that she lied to Bo, she allowed him to be framed and did nothing to stop it or warn him, she did nothing about the entire Todd/Margaret fiasco and she has done nothing to enlighten Kevin about Spencer despite having figured out that Spencer caused Kevin's sterility. When they get around to addressing that stuff then we can talk about redemption. Quite frankly I think Dena needs to look the word up. So far she doesn't seem to have a clue.

Who cares who killed Dead Daddy McBain? OLTL is worse today than it ever was before. I was glad to see the 2.3 rating because this show deserves to be rated below the Santis.

Does anyone really give a hoot about McPig's Daddy? This show has gone from sucky to cesspool status. Now that Tuc is gone, yes gone! Kevin is out. I can't imagine anything changing for the better. The answer is easy for me after all these years I simply turned it off! There are better soaps on cbs that are written with intelligent substance and entertainment instead of this soap that appears to be geared toward the kiddie pool.
