Now this just assumes facts not in evidence. Costume Designers don't just know how to dress people of one size. They've been dressing people of all sizes forever and a day. Hair & Makeup don't just know how to 'do people with one type of hair! Differences are not new. They can only do what people let them do. When people have issues, there's the rub. The only way Costumers, Hair & Makeup can look good is if their people look good. They are highly motivated. Most of the time the public blames the professionals. And that's their catch-22. Maybe another way I could put this would just be to say that I disagree that the professionals are the problem. That's likely better. -
That's what I remember him from - very good actor, and of course, Tasha, superb!

A definite factor! They were doing so well & in so many countries that they could hardly believe it. It was like they had tapped into the wave of the future. This was shortly after NBC had told all wannabe soapmakers that they would HAVE to bring international sales to the table to be considered at all.

And she lived where ever college was, then she lived in Miami where Paulina used to because that would've been "home", and she moved to London & lived there for awhile (and that's where she & Allie met each other) & finally she moved to Salem. That's 4 locations & 4 moves. That's huge.

I never saw it either. And there were so many people there I did see IT on! Zimmer was on one of her trips to Hollywood to see what else she could beat out of the bushes. Roscoe Born was just an actor, wondering where the next job is coming from. Both ED & Robin Wright were also just actors. But, make no mistake they spent big bucks on this baby but they spent it upfront, like the soundstage they created for it.

I don't think anyone here is picking on her. I think people's interest & motives are humane & human. I just think they have a mess on their hands & there is a disconnect (good word) & they have a great Costuming department & somehow all the parts need to come together for the good of the entire thing. I imagine even that KS would get a lift if she felt like she looked good!

And Steve looked right at him & said, "What is that in your hair?" And, with attitude he said, "GLITTER!" where it sounded like, ya gonna make something of it?!! I totally loved Tripp today! He kept hauling off & hitting people & then looking chagrined that he'd done it! 🤣🤣🤣 Sarah would just get another job if this one was half-pay! Li is being set up for a big fall I fear.

Ya know I ran that twitterverse campaign for 3 weekend running trying to draw Frank's attention to Robert! But, I think these picks will do fine & I am guardedly otpmistic!

DOOL on Peacock Wed., 10-19-22 Cast: Johnny, Tripp, Ava, Wendy, Gabi, Li, EJ, Stefan, Xander, Sarah, Gwen, Jack and Maggie. Johnny calling Wendy & leaving msg. Tripp shows up. They're both glad that Kayla & Marlena are both better. Johnny fills Tripp in on Ava, since he was looking for his mom. Tripp gets the idea that Johnny was sleeping with Ava & punches him right in the nose. Sorry after he finds out they did not do the deed. Wendy talking to Gabi abt wanting a job which Gabi can't help with anymore. EJ & Li & Stefan, where Li makes it known that the board doubts Stefan's mental competence over the 4 yr coma, etc. Gwen dreams that Xander wants her back & wakes as Jack comes in her room. She's getting discharged & he's picking her up. Xander is wanting to move in at Victor's & hopes Jack will give him a job. ??!! Maggie seems surprised. Wendy asks when the wedding will be & Gabi does not know. Tripp goes to talk to EJ & hits him in the nose, too! He is protective of Ava!! EJ is interested in hiring Wendy. Stefan takes divorce papers to Gabi to sign & they bicker. ?? Johnny is looking for his dad's password & EJ walks in the office & finds him standing at his desk. Stefan can't get his hand to sign the papers & Li walks in. What's going on? Then, the last word of the short/sweet recap is AVA!

Well, the last thing that I reliably heard was that they had finally settled on a story & there wouldn't be any more false starts, changes of horse in midstream, etc. and that gave me guarded optimism. But, you might be right that we don't like what they finally settled on.

Back a bit when it came up that John maybe didn't have as many episode counts as did Cady/Jenn, I began thinking about his position. I think he is very important to the show inherently but the way they use (or abuse) him, you'd never know it! I think they flat-out do him wrong. And I don't think they treat anyone else that way unless it would be Steve or unless it was Ava when they never gave her anything to do except make a lot of pasta. John's treatment is glaring once you think to look at it. Thank goodness he gets to have regular scenes with grandchildren. Maybe he should join a club, a service club. Maybe he should go every morning to the Y & meet with his Water Buffalo buddies. I feel for the dude!
