Just found this on Wesley Eure's website & had a nice AWWW moment.

Well, I must say that they really went all out & they really went way out & they stayed out there, in the elements & it's not a bad look, I mean, Laura Wright & Carly, both of them, look great with the wind whipping that massive head of hair of hers all over her face with her completely comfortable with it as she absolutely is! Cameron doesn't look better or worse or different no matter where you set him down. He's a *just right* Ken doll with a great smile & lots of available facial expression. Letter perfect lines & looks were delivered. So we had good dialog about the location & about what Virginia thought about the beach & memory of Virginia with little Carly ... or Caroline? at the beach. And a good speech for Carly to give before delivering her cremains up to the wind at the cliff's edge up high above the water. Hey, I'm a sucker for the beach. But the thing is I was thinking ... Where's Lucy? How is Lucy? I would trade this for that. Hell, I would trade catching The Hook for that. So, I can wax euphoric about what they did at the beach to then get us to a kiss, but I don't think they got their money's worth if *I* would have made a swap for either Lucy or The Hook! Cause beach romance had a shot with me & it wouldn't have had with everybody. After today I've decided that Charles Shaughnessey (sp?) is a much better actor than I ever thought he was in the past. Surely he is behind Lucy with a frame job on Anna as a side dish. He did a perfect imitation of someone shocked at the news & horrified. And where is Valentin when we need him? Off in Victor's plane, of course.

And an amazing international popularity! It had so much good about it that it made you just wish it hadn't had the internal struggles going on that it did. This great creative creature that unfortunately was trying to eat itself from the inside out. Maybe different parties should have had to go into court-ordered counseling together?? I've heard of cases where that's been done. I've never heard if it did any good. I can't do what you are asking but I did do something similar. Let me just explain. Awhile back, earlier this year, there was a thing going around that said that Bennifer getting back together was going to cause a reset in the time-space continuum & things were going to go back & have big or little do-overs back to approximately 2004. I didn't question it. I just took it as a mental challenge & set out what I would change under those terms for Guiding Light and for Days of Our Lives. The nice thing was I didn't have to say HOW I would make it happen. I only had to be very specific about what the NEW version would look & seem & be like. Anyway, you probably like what you've already set forth just fine & think I'm a nut, but here's an alternative that you're welcome to use should you have any interest.

For example, here he's making the point that people say they are quitting the show. Then they say such and such happened on the show (that they're not watching). Then they conclude, these are the things that are wrong with the show (that they're not watching.) Everyone knows without his pointing it out that if A is true then B & C cannot logically accrue. But, those frustrated fans - if they are here posting which they must be, then they aren't watching (that's their boycott) but they are following along. So they still have anger & frustration & opinions. He could point out all sorts of interesting things about their behavior as "anti-fans" but instead he points out something surface that is moot since it doesn't apply to what those "anti-fans" are doing & saying. It's all about the behavior of typical unhappy online fans but where's his insight?

He is far too thin-skinned to even be on the Internet.

OMG! How many years has it been since DOOL tried to do David & Valerie?!! And the Grant family seemed like such a threat to the poor widdle white boy?!! Can we still not have made any more progress than that?!! Of course, grannies came out from baseboards en masse twice int he past 3 weeks but not over race, over sex.

You can read my recap in no time & make an informed consent! But, I will say that it was a big "talk to" day. Heavy on the dialog, but good dialog. For once I did not want to strangle any DOOL writers. Chipmunks are so cute! 🤷🏻‍♀️ We should have some!

Right, Michael Weatherly, LOVING, THE CITY, NCIS and then BULL. I'm missing something. That show Alba did! It had the character named "SIN" dy in it. Weatherly played the good guy in the wheelchair. Anyone remember what show I'm talking about? DARK ANGEL

Cast: Eric, Jada, Nicole, Chloe, Brady, John, Kristen, Gabi, Rafe, Rolf, Li Friday, October 21, 2022 We begin the day with Eric packing up for a photo shoot. Jada comes by. Eric gets an email from Nicole where she fires him, supposedly all about budget cuts. Maybe this is because of EJ taking over. Switch to Marlena & John's place where Brady is. John has to pick up some patient files. Brady asks first about Marlena & Kate & Kayla. John says it is a miracle, just no other word for it. Switch to Kristen's place where she is imbibing, champagne I think. Stefan shows up at her place with a theory that she did something to his brain to make him hate Gabi & want Chloe. She convinces him that would be crazy. He just had 4 yrs coma time to sort out his feelings about the 2 women. He falls for this! Brady thinking about the heartbroken look on Rachel's face. John says he knows what a good dad Brady is & how he had to fix things for Rachel. Had to break up with Chloe. Brady has another flashback to things Kristen said. Stefan can't understand why he hates Gabi, tho, that makes no sense. Rafe explains that he was mad at seeing Nicole hugging Eric & said things he shouldn't have. Gabi well when a marriage ends things are never ideal. Rafe I exploded & just did this stream of consciousness thing. Gabi, did you sleep here? Rafe, yes, I didn't go home last night. Gabi, you need to go now where ever Nicole is & try to fix this. Rafe, yes that's what I need to do. Chloe is at work, talking to Nicole, filling her in & crying. But she understands that Brady is thinking about his little girl. Nicole says she is next & it is all her own fault. She & Rafe had a terrible fight & he did not come home last night. Chloe so you just fired Eric by EMAIL?!!! Gabi, well it is all over with Stefan & me & I cannot find Rolf anywhere. Rafe I can put you onto Rolf. We just searched his secret lab. Li shows up at Rolf's lab & promises him a brand new secret lab, all gleaming & bright, everything new, and only about 10,000 miles away. Jakarta is beautiful this time of year. Nicole is upset & keeps thinking about having that dream about Eric & then telling that lie & then that leading to another lie. And that was the only reason I hired Eric! Jada well being fired by email, huh, could be worse, could have been by text! Nicole now flashes back to Rafe just spouting off nonsense, so angry. Jada tells Eric that Nicole & Rafe have now had a big fight over him. Stefan still trying to figure things out. Maybe you aren't against Gabi. Maybe you are just for Chloe. Brady, you're a great dad. John you are always thinking about Rachel's benefit. Chloe so I guess there were no carrier pigeons to use to fire Eric! But, Nicole, do you want your marriage to work? Nicole. I am guilty & I do want to fix things with Rafe. Like magic, Rafe shows up. He also wants to know about their marriage & if they can make it work. He says he is sorry about last night. Eric puts it together. She fired me to save her marriage. Nicole & Rafe both try to apologize for last night. Nicole catches Rafe up that she has fired Eric. Rolf is kinda appalled at Jakarta! But Li says Salem is too hot for him. Rolf feels like he is running away. Well, he is. Stefan says he is onto Kristen, that he knows she is obsessed with Brady. Kristen points out that Chloe is now a free agent & so Stefan has as good a chance with her as anyone does. John's leaving & headed to the hospital with patient files. Stefan figures he'd better make a move. Nicole has to know where she & Rafe stand? Is there a chance they can be together? They make up & talk about having great makeup sex. However, the cop shop calls Rafe & he has to go to work. Nicole tells Chloe she has a chance to make things right with Rafe & she's gonna make the best of it.

I began watching 3 soaps at one time. All 3 were what my mother watched. 2 from the Irnaverse - AW & ATWT & one from Corday who of course had Irna involved in it, too, DOOL. That was August 1975. Since then I do believe I've watched 20 different soaps! Now I watch both DOOL & GH.

What the heck is it with Cyrus & scripture all of a sudden? Mason! Good riddance!

I read today that Trevor Donovan played Jeremy Horton in 2009. Mike & Robin Jacobs son, dated Stephanie, and they gave him a 3 yr contract. But he kept freezing as soon as they'd have a live scene so they had to fire him. Now he has worked for Hallmark for years & it sounded like he was hoping to come back to DOOL.

I'm mostly talking about actors with issues that get in the way of their getting the best clothes & hair care. I realize that there are certainly issues of ethnicity that carry their own problems - and solutions! You're right about that. I think they can fix it if she will let them. And, Austin is another big problem!

@AbcNbc247I completely agree with you about Tripp & Wendy. And I'd like it if Tripp moved back. I like it that Wendy has a work ethic and of course Tripp has a strong one. I wish we had found out more about what is in Ava's head. I think I could ship her with Johnny and of course I've never liked Johnny with anybody before!

There were times when I didn't get to watch SB because not every affiliate played it all of the time. There were times when I loved & adored it. There was never a time I recall thinking it was terrible. My personal favorites were Lane Davies as Mason, Robin Wright as Kelly, Nancy Lee Grahn as Julia, Judith McConnell as Sofia, Robin Mattson as Gina, Justin Deas as Keith & the actor whose name I don't recall who played somebody Tagliari. Plus I loved A & Marcy as Cruz & Eden. About the only hunk of people I did not care for was Kim Zimmer's family. When asked for my vote for worst recast I always answer anyone besides Lane Davies as Mason & anyone besides Robin Wright as Kelly. Oh, and I loved Brandon & I loved Wanda DeJesus. Last but not least I loved Louise Sorel as Augusta. (Loved her on DOOL as Vivian Alamain, too.) Lane Davies used to always try to get a job at Pilot season where he'd get well paid for making the Pilot & ever how many episodes they contracted for but not actually be tied down to a contract for a show & fool that I was I would watch all those shows & some of them were real stinkers. Several were on FOX when it was first on the air. There was one in particular, THE CREW, flight attendants on a budget airline. Forgot! Love Roscoe Born!

Xander says they are behind on their payments at the Salem Inn & are moving back into Vic's & Maggie's. Gwen is put off by Ava in costume. Ava hiding out from EJ. Ava wants Gwen to help her get revenge on EJ. Gwen says No. (Gwen discharge today. Jack offer job & home.) Tripp calling trying to find Ava. Johnny looking for EJ p/w. EJ walks in on him. Johnny makes up an apology. EJ suspicious. Gabi divorce papers signed by Stefan, by her & witnessed by Li. Gwen reminds Ava that it was her ring first. Tripp something about living in Seattle. Wendy you saved my life last summer. EJ you have a bad temper you got from your mother. But, Johnny you got your charm from me. Ava wants EJ to pay! Revenge. Joey comes up. They invite Wendy to Steve & Kay's. Wendy kisses them bye - she has work to do. She just got a job with Dimera here. Joey & Tripp bicker & then agree to Wendy picking the best Johnson! Stefan - a divorced man!
